“My son was racing our Datsun roadster in D Production one of the times Paul ran in the same class at Daytona. He wandered up to our crew working on our roadsturd. His crew had sent him to borrow a multimeter. He would just show up and pay the late regristration fees so everyones crew wouldn’t be packed with “crew” there just to catch a look at him as a star. I think he enjoyed just being one of us club racers. Very pleasant to talk to. He wasn’t in a hurry to get back to his crew who might have…”

“Thank you for your interest in my listing. I wanted to share the back story on this truck with everyone if I may. Sometime in 2018 when my wife Dana and I were living in Atlanta, we were out one Sunday morning when a young couple with a small child rolled up next to us at a stop light in a 50’s era pickup. When she said something that made me ask… “Who are you and what have you done with my wife?” What she said was that she had always wanted an old truck like that. So after I heard…”

“I’m one of the few other people who owns one of these in the USA. It’s a blast. I love it and so does everyone anywhere I take it. So unique, so cool, so much fun.
I think a good way to help understand this car is that it has the same power to weight ratio as a GT4. GT4 is 380HP and 3000lbs, this is 190HP and 1500lbs. So it accelerates just as quick but is also more nimble in the turns because it’s half the weight.
I suspect these will appreciate in value as well, it’s essentially the…”

“The 550 was, by and large, the end of the gated manual era at Ferrari and was the final model offered exclusively with a 6-speed transmission. Gearbox technology was advancing quickly as Scuderia Ferrari dominated F1, so when the updated 575M was introduced in 2002, nearly all of them came equipped with the F1 transmission. Only 246 575Ms were optioned with the manual gearbox, and its successor, the 599, saw just 30 manuals produced.

“You could hear the Buick before you saw it—low, steady rumble like a baritone singer with a cold. Then it rolled into Fort Stockton, slow and wide as a cattle drive, with more faux wood than a church fellowship hall on potluck night.

“The 330 GTC has always been a favorite of mine. And the 512BB. When I was first working out of college in the early ’80’s my wife and I honeymooned in San Francisco and I dragged her to Ferrari Los Gatos, and there on the floor were my two dream cars, a 330 GTC sitting next to a 512BB. I remember them being in the $25 – $35K range? And thinking, I’ll be able to afford one of those. Unfortunately life intervened and prices for these cars increased but I was finally able to realize a dream…”

“Thanks to all bidders. I fell in love with the 904 when I first saw one in the 1980’s. I think it the most beautiful care design ever. Thats why I had to have the Beck 904. I started discussing the car with Chuck Beck in early 2020, and pulled the trigger in October of 2020. It was a 3 year build process, and I visited the factory many times during the build. My wife was involved too, and picked out the interior colors. I think it turned out nicely. Thanks for all the positive comments.”

“Folks, the Gen 5 Viper was the epitome of everything great with cars. Manual transmission, rear wheel drive, hydraulic steering, and beautiful art inside and out with modern day technology. They will never make cars like this again and nothing made right now even matches the visceral feel of this. When you have mass produced 911s going for 200-500k, it’s amazing that this is not going for more than 500k. Those cars are so boring compared to this!”
