That said and cars aside, the one that got me was for the story, not so much the car. That’s a tall statement considering my self avowed love of Packards, which is well know here. And this one is a real corker! Oh, and the Delahaye is stunning too.

These were intended to have headers and a bigger Holley mounted by the owner to let the big fella breathe, and once you do that, there’s no comparison between a BOSS ‘9 and any Cobra Jet 428 or 429, even with the same mods done to them.”

“I have had many 105 series cars: GTV’s, Scalino’s, Giulia’s, a Spider and many Berlina’s. Years ago the Berlina’s, due to low value, served as donors for the 2L engine and limited slip diff. The styling is not a dramatic as the other 105 series cars, however driving them they hold as the best of the range! I love the 2L dash and driving at night…as the lighting in the dash is activated by a separate button…which makes the beautiful white dails light up! It’s a spacious comfortable fast…”

“Beautiful car. I started at Cadillac in 1957 and the finished Broughams were moved to the executive garage for final inspection and cleanup. I had a small part of that process.
Later in the early 1960s when I worked in the Cadillac parts warehouse on Riopelle and we were surprised by the volume of spring replacement spring kits we were selling for this car. I recall we sold more replacement kits than the number of Broughams built. In many cases Cadillac replaced the air bags with springs…”

Yes, the engine produced 430 HP at 5200 RPM’s but Chevy failed to mention it produced
Over 550 HP at 6200 RPM’s
The “low” HP published at a time when insurance companies were taking a close look at high performance cars”

“There have been a lot of good comments on cooling and radiators.
My Griffith was upgraded with all of the mentioned modifications but nothing worked until I installed a chin spoiler under the radiator. All cars today have chin spoilers, for a reason.
Regarding cabin temperatures, my headers are ceramic coated and there is proper insulation under the carpet, keeping me cool as a cucumber, even on the hottest days.
This is all for my Griffith but a 2500M is basically the same only…”

“Every time I get off of mine, I think to myself what a great machine it is! These also look so much better than the brand new RT, at least to my eye. For prospective buyers, it’s worth knowing that BMW pays for driveshaft service every 12,000 miles, with replacement at their cost somewhere in the 36,000 mile range. It might take some time for this low mileage example to get there, but knowing they service it free is added peace of mind. I’m so impressed by my 2015.”

“What a lovely, and well driven example! Tasteful mods, and miles and miles of future enjoyment for the next lucky owner. I’ve owned my 97 C4S for 15 years, she just rolled 135k, up from 63k at acquisition. These cars are just such an experience, just so immensely satisfying to drive…and to own.
