The service writer put “Aspen” on the repair order, so my grandfather asked him to correct it. “I drove a 2012 manual Fit for three years before I lost it in a flood trying to cross an underpass. They float extremely well by the way.
It was SO much fun to drive. It fit two bikes in the back with the seats up. Storage was best. I’ve not had a similar size car since that was as enjoyable. The Fiesta ST is a close second but the FIT had better (less) torque steer when burning the tires in the wet. It would get rubber past 2nd gear on moist roads.

“The gap between the order date and the serialized date on the Marti report reminds me that Ford workers went on strike in the fall of 1976.
I had factory ordered a new Econoline 150 around the same time as this Bronco and I took delivery in January of 1977. My van was the same Midnight Metallic Blue as this Bronco. A Great color”
