My current 993 cup-based racecar has THEE original M64/70 993 Cup 3.8L engine that was originally in this BaT car listed (before John Ruther had it converted to an RSR, courtesy of Alwin Springer of ANDIAL and who was also the head of PMNA back then). Basically I have the original low hours still-sealed 3.8L Cup motor and original motorsport ECU/DME that belonged to this car listed when it arrived stateside back in 1995. Small world indeed!”

“Honda corporate donated 50 of these Big Reds to our Sheriff’s department in 1990, and provided advanced training to me and the rest of our deputies who were assigned these vehicles, including taking on thick underbrush at speed, when a four wheel ATV would dry dock. I remember visiting the New Haven HQ and riding a freight elevator to Ralph Millet’s office. We had one tech whose job was engine replacement, and he was kept busy. They are fun cars to drive, the odds of seeing another one on the road rare. This is a beauty, good luck with the sale.”

“I bought mine new in 04 (same color and spec) and with a wife and 4 kids, drove it 210,000 trouble free miles in 15 years making it the best and most dependable vehicle I’ve ever owned. If this truck was properly maintained, 100k miles is nothing and should provide the next family years of reliable service. I don’t know the seller at all but love his responsiveness and transparency in this auction. GLWTA.”

“I quite like this version of the 2002, I still remember in 1970 when my father picked up his brand new 2002 Ti here in Vancouver. My father’s car came in Colorado orange, it had a limited slip differential and sunroof but only a 4 speed transmission. The next year, I used the Ti for all my driving lessons and tests when I pursued my driver’s licence, even the driving instructors were impressed with the car.”

One of my best friends ordered a ‘63 Galaxie 500 XL Oxford Blue convertible with the 406/405 Tri-Power engine …By the time it arrived it had the new upgraded 427/425 Dual Quad engine..I can vividly remember the first time opening the hood and seeing those chrome valve covers marked 427-T ….I believe the “T” was for transistor ignition.
The ‘63 Galaxie has always been my favorite Ford, especially the
“R” code Fastback version.”

“A V10 Gated Gallardo is a big 12 year old goal for me to own. 12 year old me used to see the Gallardo all the time before the Huracan existed when I was in high school.
