“Lets talk about tires. It was noted that I spend tons of money restoring these Elans and then use cheap tires. There is a very limited selection of 13″ tires available. You can’t just go to Tire Rack and get Michelin Pilot Sports. They just don’t make them in 13”.

“Man oh man, nobody writes any more like these guys did. Never knew it was anything other than as-expected and normal when I’d wait for my Car and Driver, Road & Track and Auto Week magazines to arrive in the mail to immediately read from front to back beginning as a 6 or 7 year old in the 70’s.
No wonder I became a car nut. It can be attributed to the brilliant authors of the articles written by these guys.

“Over the past fifty years, we’ve owned too many Saabs to count and a few Porsches along the way. An older perfectly maintained low miles Porsche comes through BaT every week. I’ll occasionally go lengthy periods without driving one (months at a time), and begin to question whether something else is worthy of that mantle in my own mind.
