Patrick Long was introducing this beauty in the hot pits at Laguna Seca Raceway outside of garage 12. Great memories capturing this beauty through the crowd of enthusiasts and gear heads at 9:30 pm at night after day one of Porsche’s RR7. One of the best modern day GT cars by Metzger and Porsche.”

“This is an amazing car, I remember seeing it at Nth Moto many years ago. Every S7 is special, but this one being modified to “11” by Nth Moto (probably the best bespoke high performance shop in the country) makes it even moreso. If anyone is hesitant about this being modified, don’t be. Whether it’s Viper, Ford GT, Lambo, etc anything Nth Moto touches turns out exceptional and their quality of work is better than OEM. Good luck with the auction, seller. Beautiful car.”

“I was a mechanic in England back in the 80s and made a living overhauling the AP 4 speed auto gearboxes used in ADO16, Allegro, and Metro cars. The comments regarding frequent oil changes are spot on! Failure to follow or ideally improve on Leyland guidelines would result in multiple o ring failures (usually hardening) and damaged clutch packs.

“I know this car better than most, having owned it for seven years between 2016 – 2023 and being mostly responsible for the condition that it is presented in today. 
I have owned three DC2’s in total, they are wonderful drivers cars, for the enthusiast. 
This one however  is truly unrepeatable, it genuinely is a special car. 
when I bought the car it was unmolested, completely factory original with complete history, all keys and literature present even down to the original dealer plates…”

“Pontiac sure had some pretty cars in the Sixties. They’ve aged well too. Great to see two Pontiac B Bodies with three pedals on BaT in the same week… how unusual is that?
This car would have a circle of admirers at every Cars and Coffee you drove it to… elegant and much less common than the A Body cars of the era. Truly the “executives’ hot rod” especially with a four-speed.

“Dean Batchelor and Phil Hill agreed that if one has only one Ferrari, make it a 330 GTC. It does everything so well. As said, not only does it NOT need power steering, leave off all options including AC and Borrani wire wheels on these cars. The AC in this era had an ugly compressor, was very heavy and not very effective. Borrani’s are certainly beautiful but along with the attaching hardware are much heavier than the race proven Campagnolo disc wheels with their P car style provenance.…”
