PATTAYA, August 14th, 2026
Pattaya City Mayor Poramese Ngamphichet led the opening of the “Thai Community Market: Smiling People” at the area in front of the Legal Affairs Group, Building 2, at Pattaya City Hall. City executives, the Mayor’s Secretary, the Assistant Secretary, and heads of government agencies joined the event, supporting products from local community entrepreneurs in a lively atmosphere.
The city organized the market to help ease the cost of living for residents and expand sales channels for local entrepreneurs, generating income and stimulating economic circulation at the community level.

A wide range of affordable consumer goods was available, including fresh food, cooked meals, pesticide-free vegetables, herbs, fresh chicken eggs, and household products such as laundry detergent, fabric softener, and other everyday items. The selection allowed residents to purchase quality goods at reasonable and value-for-money prices.
Pattaya City remains committed to strengthening the community-level economy while improving residents’ quality of life. The “Thai Community Market: Smiling People” serves as one approach to reducing living costs, supporting local businesses, and creating sales opportunities that contribute to sustainable income and economic security for the public.

The market is held every second Friday of the month in front of the Legal Affairs Group, Building 2, Pattaya City Hall, starting from 9:00 a.m. Residents are invited to shop for good-value products that help the community.
