Cardi B talks about being single forever in new co…

Cardi B is opening up about her love life once again, making it clear that while she is currently single, she has no intention of staying that way forever. The Grammy-winning rapper recently addressed fans during an X Spaces conversation, where she spoke candidly about relationships, personal growth, and the challenges of dating in the public eye. Her honest remarks come after months of speculation surrounding her romantic life following the end of her marriage to Offset.

During the live discussion, Cardi responded to fans who encouraged her to remain single and focus only on herself. However, the rapper explained that she does not see permanent singlehood in her future. She said she spent her entire Little Miss Drama tour without dating or entertaining anyone romantically, but emphasized that she eventually wants companionship again. According to Cardi, being single has given her time to reflect, but it does not mean she plans to avoid relationships for the rest of her life.

The 33-year-old artist, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, has experienced several highly publicized relationships over the years. Her marriage to rapper Offset was filled with ups and downs before eventually ending. Since then, Cardi has focused on balancing motherhood with her music career while navigating life in the spotlight. As the mother of four children, she has often spoken about wanting to provide a stable and loving environment for her family while continuing to pursue her professional goals.

Her latest comments have also fueled fresh speculation about her dating life. In recent days, Cardi has been photographed spending time in Italy with Nigerian footballer Maduka Okoye, leading to rumors that the pair could be more than friends. Although the rapper has not confirmed a romantic relationship, she acknowledged that dating as a celebrity is far from easy. She explained that because of her fame, she has to be extremely selective about the people she allows into her personal life.

Despite the ongoing headlines, Cardi’s message was ultimately about moving forward rather than dwelling on the past. She made it clear that she values love and companionship, but she is also committed to protecting her peace and making thoughtful decisions about future relationships. Her comments suggest she is embracing a new chapter—one focused on happiness, stability, and personal growth rather than public expectations.

As fans continue to follow every development in her personal life, Cardi B remains unapologetically honest about her emotions. Whether she chooses to stay single for a while longer or eventually finds a new partner, the rapper’s latest confession shows she is determined to live life on her own terms while staying true to herself and her family.

Gohar Rasheed shares powerful reminder about love and respect

Pakistani actor Gohar Rasheed recently shared a heartfelt message about the importance of valuing people who genuinely care for us. His post highlighted a simple yet meaningful thought: when you find someone who truly loves, respects, cares for, and supports you, such a person should not be taken for granted. The message carries significance for both married and unmarried people, as meaningful relationships are built on more than attraction or temporary emotions. Love becomes stronger when it is accompanied by respect, understanding, loyalty, affection, and sincere care. According to the shared reminder, people who offer these qualities are not always easy to find, which makes their presence in our lives especially valuable. In today’s fast-paced world, relationships can sometimes be affected by misunderstandings, unrealistic expectations, and a lack of communication. It is therefore important to recognize the efforts of those who consistently stand by us during difficult moments and celebrate our happiness during good times. The message also encourages people to look beyond material things or appearances when judging the value of a relationship. Someone who treats you with kindness, respects your feelings, listens to you, and genuinely wants the best for you can be far more valuable than someone who only stays around when things are convenient. Gohar Rasheed’s post has sparked a conversation about what truly makes a relationship worth preserving. For many, love alone may not be enough; mutual respect, trust, care, and emotional support are equally important foundations of a lasting bond. The reminder ultimately encourages people to appreciate genuine connections before they are lost. In a world where sincere relationships can be difficult to find, recognizing and nurturing people who truly value you can make all the difference.

Poland unveils Europe’s tallest Virgin Mary statue in tiny village

A towering new statue of the Virgin Mary has been unveiled in a small Polish village, instantly becoming the tallest statue anywhere in Europe. Standing at 55.6 metres, the monument now dominates the local skyline. The devotional sculpture was consecrated by a local bishop during a ceremony held on Saturday in the rural village of Konotopie. The unveiling comes at a notable moment, as the Catholic Church’s broader influence over public life in Poland continues to decline. Despite its scale, the statue sits in a remote location, far from any of Poland’s major population centres. Its placement was reportedly requested specifically by a wealthy local couple who funded the project. During the ceremony, two helicopters were seen circling above the towering figure, which stands with arms open and a large crown atop its head. The dramatic aerial display added to the significance of the occasion. While Poland remains a predominantly Catholic country, many younger Poles living in urban areas have grown increasingly distant from the church and its traditions. The statue’s unveiling arrives against that broader backdrop of shifting religious engagement. Among those attending Saturday’s ceremony was Lech Walesa, the former Polish president who played a central role in the collapse of communism in the country. Now 82, Walesa reflected on his own life journey in comments to the Associated Press, describing his story as one that started and ended with the Virgin Mary. Local authorities are hoping the massive structure will serve a dual purpose going forward, functioning as both a significant pilgrimage site and a tourist attraction. To support that goal, the statue includes a viewing platform built directly into its base, offering visitors a chance to take in sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. The unveiling adds Poland to the small list of countries hosting record-breaking religious monuments, and local officials appear hopeful the structure will draw visitors from well beyond the immediate region in the years ahead.

YouTubers receive legal notices over negative Toxic reviews

Yash’s much-awaited film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has found itself at the centre of a legal controversy shortly after its theatrical release. While the film has been receiving mixed to negative reactions from audiences and critics, several YouTubers and social media influencers who posted critical reviews have reportedly received legal notices from representatives of the film’s production team. The controversy comes just days after the makers obtained an ex-parte interim injunction from a Bengaluru court. The order restricts the publication and circulation of content that is considered false or defamatory against the film. The development has now drawn attention to the difference between a legal notice and an actual court order, particularly as reviewers continue to discuss their experiences online. One of the reviewers who publicly revealed receiving a notice is YouTuber Suraj Kumar. He shared a screenshot of the legal communication on social media. The notice was issued by Bengaluru-based Aiplex Software, which stated that it was acting on behalf of KVN-Monster Mind Creations LLP, the production company behind Toxic. The notice reportedly referred to a review uploaded by Suraj on the day the film was released. It alleged that his review had been published, circulated, shared, posted or otherwise communicated online. Despite receiving the notice, Suraj did not remove his review. Instead, he shared the legal notice with his followers and responded with a sarcastic caption thanking the Toxic team for taking legal action over his review. Another reviewer who has spoken about receiving a similar notice is Tamil YouTuber Prashanth Rangaswamy. He also took to social media to reveal that he had received a legal notice concerning his review of the film. His post expressed disappointment over the development and questioned the decision to take legal action against reviewers who had expressed negative opinions about the movie. Reports also suggest that an influencer on X received a similar notice after uploading a negative review in Tamil. The notices appear to have been sent as part of the production team’s wider effort to address online content surrounding the film. According to the legal communication, Aiplex has been authorised to represent the producers for a specific period, from July 13 through September 26. During this period, the company can reportedly issue takedown requests and approach online platforms, internet service providers and search engines regarding allegedly objectionable material connected to the film. However, receiving a legal notice does not automatically mean that a reviewer has been found guilty of defamation. The court order is a separate matter. The interim injunction was granted on August 22 by Bengaluru’s Additional City Civil and Sessions Court and specifically concerns content alleged to be false or defamatory. The order is temporary and is expected to remain in force until the next hearing, scheduled for September 28. This is not the first time Aiplex has been involved in disputes concerning online film reviews. Telugu YouTuber Sushant had previously accused the company of using copyright-related strikes against critical movie reviews during opening weekends, adding another layer to the ongoing discussion about how film criticism is handled online. Meanwhile, Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas, features Yash in the lead role alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara and other prominent actors. The film had generated considerable anticipation before its release, but its reception has reportedly been largely negative. The film’s box-office performance has also shown a significant decline after its opening day. Toxic reportedly earned around Rs 101 crore on its first day, while its collection fell sharply to approximately Rs 36 crore on the second day. The legal notices issued to reviewers have therefore become a major talking point alongside the film’s performance. As the court proceedings continue, the controversy has raised broader questions about the boundaries between film criticism, online opinions and allegedly defamatory content.

Hepatitis screening made mandatory for Islamabad e…

The federal government has decided to launch mandatory hepatitis screening for all government employees in Islamabad. Employees working in federal ministries will also be required to undergo screening. The move is part of the government’s efforts to detect hepatitis cases at an early stage and provide timely treatment. According to sources in the Ministry of Health, the screening will be conducted under the Prime Minister’s Hepatitis Programme. The programme aims to identify people infected with hepatitis and connect them with free diagnostic and treatment facilities. Employees who test positive during the initial screening will be referred for a PCR test. The PCR test will be provided free of cost under the programme. The government will also provide free medicines to patients after completion of the PCR testing process. The initiative is intended to reduce the financial burden on patients and ensure that those diagnosed with hepatitis receive proper treatment. The Prime Minister’s Hepatitis Programme has a total allocation of Rs67 billion. The funds will be used for screening, diagnostic tests, treatment and other measures aimed at controlling the spread of hepatitis. Free hepatitis screening is already being conducted at different locations across Islamabad. The government plans to expand the screening process to federal government employees as part of the wider programme. Sources said more than 50,000 hepatitis screening kits have already been purchased. The kits will be used to screen employees and identify suspected cases. Machinery for PCR testing has also been installed at the National Institutes of Health in Islamabad. The facility will help process tests for people who are found positive during the initial screening. Health authorities are focusing on early diagnosis because many hepatitis patients may not show clear symptoms in the initial stages. Regular screening can help identify infections before they cause serious health complications. The mandatory screening of government employees is therefore being seen as an important step in strengthening hepatitis prevention and treatment efforts in the federal capital.

Bangladesh hands ODI captaincy to Litton Das, drops Mehidy

Bangladesh has a new face leading its One-day International side. Litton Das has officially taken over ODI captaincy duties from Mehidy Hasan Miraz, with the Bangladesh Cricket Board confirming the change on Wednesday. The decision comes not long after Bangladesh suffered a series defeat against Zimbabwe earlier this month. It is worth noting that the shift only affects the ODI format. Najmul Hossain will keep his position as Test captain, so the two roles remain separate. Litton was already Bangladesh’s T20 captain before this appointment. With this move, he now leads two of the three formats, while the board continues its approach of splitting captaincy responsibilities. Board president Tamim Iqbal explained that having separate leaders for white-ball and red-ball cricket was part of preparations for next year’s ODI World Cup, which South Africa, Namibia, and Zimbabwe will jointly host. Tamim spoke positively about Mehidy’s time as captain, highlighting his strong results across several series. Still, he pointed to a dip in Mehidy’s batting form as the main reason behind the change. He mentioned having a conversation with Mehidy directly and said the outgoing captain was understanding of the board’s decision. Mehidy stepped into the ODI captaincy role about a year ago, replacing Najmul, who had briefly captained the team in all three formats. During his tenure, Bangladesh secured ten wins out of twenty ODIs. The early stretch of his captaincy was difficult, with the team losing several matches in a row. Things improved significantly afterward, as Bangladesh strung together four consecutive series wins at home against the West Indies, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Australia. That momentum slowed following the away series loss to Zimbabwe. This is not new territory for Litton either. He previously captained Bangladesh in seven ODIs, a stretch that included a memorable series win over India in 2022. Tamim also addressed questions surrounding Bangladesh’s proposed home series against India in September. He said he remained hopeful the tour would proceed, describing Bangladesh as a safe environment for visiting teams. He added that talks with India’s cricket board had been going well and that more clarity was expected soon. This uncertainty follows an earlier standoff, when Bangladesh’s previous board opted out of playing in India during this year’s T20 World Cup due to security concerns tied to a Bangladeshi bowler’s IPL release. Tamim acknowledged that some decisions were beyond his control, since government involvement plays a role too, but said an update should come soon.
