Hua Hin Fire Wave Fest 2026 to light up Hua Don Beach
Hua Hin Fire Wave Fest 2026 will take place at Hua Don Beach from 29-30 May, with organisers aiming to attract residents and visitors during the green season.
The fireworks and music beach festival was announced at a press conference on 20 May at Hua Don Beach-Khao Takiab. The event will run from 4pm to midnight on both days and admission will be free.
Mr Prateep Boriboonrat, Deputy Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan, attended the announcement alongside Mr Nopporn Wutthikul, Mayor of Hua Hin City Municipality; Mr Montree Manichpong, Hua Hin District Senior Clerk; Mrs Putthiya Pansaeng, Vice President of the Hua Hin-Cha-am Tourism Business Association; and Ms Pornpan Phruekwiboon, Assistant Sales Manager at The Kaset Hua Hin Hotel.
Ms Busaba Choksuchart and Mr Sapphop Ungrasamee, Deputy Mayors of Hua Hin City Municipality, also attended, together with municipal executives, tourism agencies, hotel operators and other representatives.
Hua Hin Fire Wave Fest 2026 aims to boost green season tourism
Mr Nopporn said the event is being organised as a beach lifestyle festival combining music, art, lighting and beach activities.
He said the festival is intended to support tourism, stimulate the local economy during the green season and create more activity along Hua Hin’s beachfront at night.
Organisers also said the event is expected to generate income for local businesses, including hotels, restaurants, food vendors and nearby communities.
Fireworks, music and beachside activities
A key highlight will be a seaside fireworks display synchronised with music. Organisers said more than 8,888 fireworks will be used across the two-day event, with two shows each night at 7.50pm and 9.50pm.
The festival will also include two light installation-style art booths under the concept “Lightwave Reflections: Light and Waves”.
Another highlight will be “The Luminous Wave”, an LED flyboard show by Suksan Tongthai, a three-time Flyboard World Champion. The performance will combine lighting, sound and water effects in a show staged at sea.
Visitors can also expect art and craft workshops, more than 120 food stalls and other activities throughout the event.
Live concerts will feature Thai artists including Palmy, Paper Planes, Da Endorphine and Wanyai.
Organisers are inviting residents and tourists to attend the event at Hua Don Beach on 29-30 May. Admission is free.
