Sriracha Municipality Announces 3rd Health Festival Under Theme “Care for Your Health & Care for Your Life”
SRIRACHA, Chonburi – Sriracha Municipality, along with multiple health agencies, held a press conference on August 14th, 2026, to announce the 3rd Sriracha Municipality Health Festival, themed “Care for Your Health & Care for Your Life” (ดูแลสุขภาพ คือ ดูแลชีวิต).
The event took place at 1:00 p.m. on the activity court on the 4th floor of Central Sriracha shopping mall. Sriracha Mayor Chatchai Timkrajang presided over the announcement.

Health promotion and disease prevention form a core strategy of the World Health Organization (WHO) and Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health. These efforts are to empower people to manage their own health, reduce risk factors for disease, and lower long-term healthcare costs. The approach aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, the National Economic and Social Development Plan, the 20-Year National Strategy on human resource development and potential enhancement, and the Ministry’s policy of proactive health promotion over curative care alone.
This direction matches Sriracha Municipality’s vision of developing the city into a “Wellness City , Sriracha, a City of Good Health.” As a local government organization, the municipality plays a key role in safeguarding residents’ health by integrating cooperation with public and private hospitals, primary care units, educational institutions, the private sector, and the community. The goal is to ensure equitable access to quality health services for all.

The Health Festival will be held on August 26th, 2026. It is designed for members of the public interested in health care, offering health screening, basic health assessments, and health education so participants can better care for themselves.
A total of 26 government and private agencies are supporting the activities.
