Kanye West appears to have put a lengthy legal battle behind him after reaching a settlement with his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta. West denied the accusations, with his representatives previously describing the claims as false and unfounded. No criminal charges were filed in connection with the civil case.  Although the settlement closes one chapter, West continues to attract attention both for his music career and his public appearances.
