Vedang Raina marks two months of ‘Maahi Ve Maapas Aaunga’

Vedang Raina has left fans emotional after marking two months since the release of “Maahi Ve Maapas Aaunga.” The actor shared a nostalgic post reflecting on the film’s journey so far.

Raina posted a behind-the-scenes photograph from the project, showing him in a traditional look during what appeared to be a break from filming. He used the moment to remind followers that the film is now available for streaming.

In his caption, the actor noted that two months had already passed since the film’s release. That simple reminder was enough to trigger a wave of nostalgic reactions from fans online.

Shortly after the post went live, social media users flooded the comments section with praise for both the film and Raina’s performance. Several fans described it as a beautiful movie, while others responded with heart emojis and messages of appreciation for the young actor.

The emotional response didn’t stop there either. One fan jokingly said Raina could have waited a little longer before bringing up the film again, admitting the reminder brought back painful memories tied to the story.

Another user referenced the character Keenu directly, highlighting just how much the role had resonated with audiences. The reaction suggests the film’s characters have left a lasting impression well beyond its initial release window.

Fans appear to remain deeply attached to the story and its characters, even months after first watching it. Many used Raina’s latest post as an opportunity to revisit their favourite scenes and reflect on what made the film stand out for them.

The continued engagement highlights how “Maahi Ve Maapas Aaunga” has managed to stay relevant in fans’ minds long after its theatrical or streaming debut. For Raina, the milestone post offered a simple but effective way to reconnect with an audience that clearly hasn’t moved on from the story just yet.

Balochistan suspends nitrogen fertilizer movement …

QUETTA: The Balochistan government has imposed a ban on the transportation of nitrogen-based fertilizers across the province for 15 days over concerns that such materials could be misused for sabotage and terrorist activities. According to an official notification issued by the Directorate General of Agriculture Balochistan, the decision was taken in view of the prevailing law and order situation and to ensure the safety of lives and property across the province. The order states that the sale, purchase, supply and distribution of nitrogen-based fertilizers have been suspended with immediate effect. Authorities said the restriction aims to prevent the possible use of these fertilizers in the manufacture of explosive materials and other unlawful activities. The banned products include urea, calcium ammonium nitrate, ammonium nitrate and potassium nitrate. Officials said the restrictions will remain in force until further orders. The notification also directs all dealers, distributors and suppliers to maintain a complete record and inventory of their existing fertilizer stocks. Authorities warned that compliance with the order would be closely monitored and that legal action could be taken against those found violating the restrictions. The provincial government said the temporary measure is part of broader efforts to strengthen security and prevent the misuse of materials that could pose a threat to public safety.

No date finalised for renewed US-Iran talks, sources say

Efforts to revive direct negotiations between the United States and Iran are continuing through diplomatic channels, but no date or venue has been finalised for the next round of talks, according to informed sources. The sources said discussions are ongoing with the help of mediators from Pakistan and Qatar, who are working with both Washington and Tehran to arrange a fresh round of negotiations aimed at reducing tensions and restoring dialogue after months of conflict. Officials familiar with the process said there is currently no scheduled meeting between American and Iranian negotiators in Islamabad. They added that both Islamabad and Doha remain possible venues for future talks, although no final decision has been made. According to the sources, Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is expected to visit Tehran in the coming days to discuss diplomatic efforts and explore ways to help restart negotiations between the two countries. Diplomatic contacts between the two sides have reportedly continued despite recent hostilities, with mediators exchanging messages in an effort to revive dialogue under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding signed earlier this year. The sources said both countries are expected to begin with indirect discussions through mediators before moving to direct negotiations. The initial phase is likely to focus on maintaining the current reduction in hostilities and building mutual confidence rather than addressing Iran’s nuclear programme. One of the main issues expected to dominate future discussions is the Strait of Hormuz, a strategically important waterway through which a significant share of the world’s oil supply passes. Mediators are reportedly working on proposals to ensure safe maritime navigation and reduce tensions in the Gulf. Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Ministry said there are currently no direct negotiations taking place with the United States. Iranian officials confirmed that Tehran is engaged in discussions with Oman regarding a temporary maritime route through the Strait of Hormuz but stressed that these talks should not be interpreted as an agreement to fully reopen the strategic waterway. Iran also maintained that any broader agreement would depend on changes in the regional security situation and an end to what it described as continued US pressure. Regional tensions remained high as Iranian media reported that the country’s Revolutionary Guard had shot down a US MQ-9 Reaper drone over the Strait of Hormuz. Separately, several oil tankers reportedly changed their shipping routes to avoid potential security threats near the Bab al-Mandab Strait, increasing transportation costs for energy shipments. At the same time, Israel launched military exercises involving naval and ground forces, saying the drills had been planned in advance. Israeli forces also continued military operations in southern Lebanon, while cross-border tensions remained elevated despite an existing ceasefire. US President Donald Trump recently said he had postponed a planned military strike against Iran after receiving requests from regional countries to allow more time for diplomacy. He expressed hope that negotiations could eventually lead to agreements on the Strait of Hormuz and broader regional security issues.

Representative Max Miller defies Republican pressure to remain on Ohio ballot despite abuse allegations

Republican Representative Max Miller has confirmed he will remain in the race for Ohio’s 7th Congressional District after letting Saturday evening’s withdrawal deadline pass, ignoring widespread calls from fellow party leaders to step down amid abuse allegations. Miller has repeatedly denied accusations raised by his former wife, Emily Moreno. A spokesperson for the congressman confirmed on Sunday that he intends to proceed as a candidate in the upcoming November 3 midterm election. The ongoing controversy threatens Republican efforts to secure a congressional seat long considered a GOP stronghold. Party officials had privately lobbied Miller to abandon his campaign out of concern that the scandal could harm Republican prospects in the region. Allies of President Donald Trump also advised the former president to intervene and urge Miller to exit the contest. Prominent Ohio Republicans have publicly disavowed Miller’s candidacy. US Senator Bernie Moreno, Miller’s former father-in-law, stated that Miller should not serve in Congress, describing him as a danger to his daughter. Ohio Senator Jon Husted also called on Miller to withdraw from the ballot and resign his current seat immediately. Miller acknowledged in a statement last week that Trump characterised his re-election battle as tough, but maintained he would stay in the race to clear his name. The political fallout deepened after Miller released hundreds of private text messages, photos, and video files intended to bolster his defence. His legal team subsequently acknowledged that the archive inadvertently contained sensitive family information. Miller will face Democratic nominee Brian Poindexter, a local ironworker, in the November 3 election.
