“These California Highway Patrol Mopars were special cars. There were over 50 modifications Chrysler let CHP order on each of these cars that wasn’t available to the public. Things like presetting the torsion bars higher to compensate for the push bars on the front and the 413 wasn’t available on a civilian 880. These old Mopar squad cars are underrated and the best driving cars they made.”

My buddy’s dad had a 1987 black 911 turbo and my friends brother had a 1987 928 S4, the third one is me in my dad’s Porsche at 17 years old dreaming off the future. “As the owner of a 73 1600 Touring, these are fun and useful with the rear seats folded down lots of cargo space they are a few inches shorter than sedans and have a more aerodynamic windshield angle. At a 02 meet up they are rare.

“My late grandfather had a 92 Accord EX sedan that he took to 800,000 before he passed. Unfortunately it was in northern Illinois so by the time he died the car was only about 75% there from the beltline down due to rust. It was a stick and still had the original engine and transmission (I think it was only on t he second clutch) and still drove like a dream. If it wasn’t for the rust I would have kept it and drove it to a million plus. This one is tempting. These are really great cars…”
