“All three Muncie 4-speeds were available in the ’69 Z28. Performance wise, the M20 is the best choice as it has a better first, second and third gear. This is all called out in my 1969 Camaro facto book. Bill “Grumpy” Jenkins always raced with the transmission with the lowest first gear. He told me this years ago.”

I worked in the Ford Design Studio from 2005-2022 and these adjustment mechanisms were primarily used on clay armatures and were adjustable to simulate various ride height conditions. “Folks, the Gen 5 Viper was the epitome of everything great with cars. Manual transmission, rear wheel drive, hydraulic steering, and beautiful art inside and out with modern day technology. They will never make cars like this again and nothing made right now even matches the visceral feel of this. When you have mass produced 911s going for 200-500k, it’s amazing that this is not going for more than 500k. Those cars are so boring compared to this!”

“This is the car that convinced me just why fulvias were rally champions. Having known the owner for a while you can rest assured that this particular example was treated with both love and care.
Having had a chance to drive it down a curvy road or two, it’s mechanically perfect and just a hoot to drive as well.
The gorgeous color doesn’t hurt either.”

“There is a really really good chance that I painted the door jams on that car! I worked at the St. Thomas assembly plant in St. Thomas Ontario Canada from 1980 to 2011. Every time I see one of these it brings back really good memories. And trust me these things were built Ford tough. all the door jams on the early cars like this one we’re all painted my hand. Ventured into the garage with my 11yo and the owner says “go ahead, take a closer look, get in it!” A small conversation later and come to find out he is neighbors with a good friend of mine.
