“Reviewing the Marti Report on this beautiful F250 it appears that Teague Ford ordered it without a rear bumper. That was typical with Ford dealers in rural eastern Washington areas like Walla Walla. The factory installed rear bumpers offered by Ford at the time were considered inadequate for the kind of heavy duty usage intended by many customers – who were often farmers. Most often dealers in the area ordered pickups without rear bumpers to allow customers to select their preferred style from…”

“I first met the owner, and viewed this Sprint over a decade ago at Concorso Italiano, and have driven with them in Provence. It’s exemplary of the great Giulietta sport touring experience. I didn’t expect the seller to ever let it go. I suspect he’s got something really special lined up as replacement.”

“That Sport Top is an incredibly rare accessory. Not many were sold and few have survived in good condition. I’ve only seen one other intact one. The Model Prefix indicates it was built as a Utility trimmed Travel Top but somewhere along the line, the bulkhead and Sport Top were added. I wonder if it was the original owner. Interesting 800!”

“My dad had one of these back in the day. The drivetrain was something else. We owned it to about 250k miles before selling it on the original clutch, transmission, turbo, head gasket, diffs, etc. It’d been chip tuned the whole time to almost 300hp for most of that.
Not that it was cheap or easy to keep the rest of the car in shape around that drivetrain….but still, this was Audi at its best.”

Happy to connect and provide steer on how to maintain this thing in the US. I just refreshed the hydraulic system on my car after getting it back from the BMWCCA Foundation museum.
The unique thing about the Alpina B8 touring is it’s the only e36 touring chassis that got the m3 rear subframe reinforcements welded in as well.”

“This is SW, this car belonged to me for quite a while. I purchased it as a 4 speed A/C car. It was extremely nice, straight with a beautiful undercarriage, which was the main reason I bought it. The Paint was nice but I am very picky so we disassembled it and had it blocked and resprayed. It drove amazingly well. After a few years I sold it to a friend so I wouldn’t take it apart and make it a restomod like all my others. He had a 5speed installed, drove it some but since he owns over 75 other…”

I suppose it may be because of my affinity for Packards, but a V-12 (with the exception of that dreadful thing used in the Lincoln Zephyr) always grabs my attention. I hope we will get to see this wonderful car completed.

“My first car was a 73 4 door custom. White with black vinyl roof and bondo fenders my Dad did with chicken wire. Slant 6 with an FM converter added that also picked up TV stations. Also had a 70 340 Swinger in HEMI orange for a few years. I have a soft spot for 70’s Darts. GLWTA!”

“As the builder of this immaculate machine I will answer some of the questions that have been posted .
I’m the Genius that installed the Palmini floor pan on the floor pan . It was and still common to mount the fuel tank in this location . on this paticular kart with three engines there is no room for a seat back tank .
all of the compoenants are original , I spent a lot of time and money aquiring all the Palmini , Hands and Van Tech parts to build this machine
All three engines are original…”
