“Dad still has a Morris van and one of the pickups that he started accumulating in the 1970’s, when my siblings and I learned to appreciate the Morris line of vehicles for what they were/are. Forgive me for recycling one of my comments from 2014, which I hope is appropriate and appreciated again:
One of the most ubiquitous vehicles of my childhood, after Austin Healeys and Lotus Elites.
Prospective Buyers should be aware of the following, especially if they have teen-aged children:
    As…”

Wasnt sure what the comments would be but the knowledgeable have come out of the woodwork. A lot of Vets out there that you would never know by looking. Sometimes it takes a conversation like this for them to step forward. GLWA”

“This car was purchased from Ed Jurist By Ted Billings in 1966 after Ed had brought it back from South America. That Engine is supposed to be the backup to the Mormon Meteor and was shipped to Argentina so the car could be raced. That is a real blower looks exactly the same as it did in 1966 when Ted took possession of the car. Leo Gephart did not start making reproduction blowers until the 1970s. This is a a great car with real race history in South America. The 1960s photo of the…”

My team, along with @diverdave36 and so many incredible people throughout the vintage Indy community, spent well over 1,000 hours researching, completely disassembling, meticulously cleaning and cataloging every part, and carefully bringing this piece of history back together.

“In 1967, my dad informed me that he had purchased, with my savings, 1960 Falcon with 60K miles for $325.00.
While it would not have been my choice, I was excited to enter the world of independence from walking, bicycling and public transportation.
The 144 ci engine didn’t last long with my heavy foot and the constant diet of re-refined oil I fed it from our local Site gas station.
I found a 260 at the junk yard and that was a great improvement.
The original radiator did not like the 260, so…”

    “Who’s ready for a Story?
This Car is coming back to Maryland. My father-in-law was the Owner that bought the car in MD. A family member sold the car after his passing without us knowing. I have been searching for a white on cinnamon e46M3 for the better part of the last decade…. When this popped up I got excited. When I saw it was originally from MD, I thought there was a chance. When I saw his name on the paperwork in the old listing I LOST MY MIND… I am so excited to get his car back for…”

“I spent 2 years restoring this car with the great guys at Universally Modified Performance. Also, a big shout at Extraordinaries Custom paint. They both did a great job. As a partner at Andretti Global, I had access to the greatest guys who know so much about this car. The majority of the parts on this car are original parts from michaels actual races in 1991. I worked with both Michael and Mario to make sure everything was as accurate as possible. It’s truly a big part of IndCar history.”

Rally red, white vinyl top, white bucket seats, sport steering wheel and side mirrors, etc. I was 17 at the time and still have it! Without my father’s knowledge, I immediately swapped the 2 barrel carb for the quadrant which really changed the performance. The drive train is bullet proof. Almost 57 years later and the engine still cranks right up and pulls like a horse! Our domestic cars from 65-71 were fabulous!”
