“Hello BaT universe! I am the owner, craftsman, artist of this X-34 Landspeeder tribute vehicle. Since I couldn’t acquire the real one from that galaxy far, far away, (the import/transport fees would have been “astronomical”) I decided to build one to commemorate the upcoming 50th earthly anniversary of this iconic movie vehicle. I am looking forward to all the comments, questions, and bids.”

“When I scroll BaT, I’ve always held out hope I’d come across two cars: my dad’s ‘66 E Type, and this car. I sold this car to the current seller. Bought when I was 14, restored it, drove it through high school and into young married life. Sold it when I was broke with a growing family to support. Broke my heart to sell it, but clearly I sold to the right individual. Car looks absolutely amazing. I’ll start the bidding with the last sale price…”

“A United Airlines pilot that lived across the street from us when I was a teenager had a 12 cylinder E-Type coupe he bought new. Easy to look at and great sounds. But THIS car has all the modern goodies with no Lucas Electrics gremlins and all the modern upgrades plus a spotless and powerful Ed Pink motor. This would be the Jag I would own. Exceptional build and beautiful car. GLWTA !”

“Whoever gets this car is getting a winner. Early 99 builds are the pinnacle of the analog porsche experience. I have a similar cab as a daily driver and it is simply divine. Despite the fact that these are the lower priced Porsches in market, it simply makes it a genius value buy. The best water-cooled setup, analog pulls and cables, and (for my spec) no nannies. ABS ONLY! You cannot go wrong with these year and this build. I’m heavily biased, but I do think this is the ideal Porsche for daily…”

“Such a time warp, this is so cool, and seeing it on that trailer reminds me of all the old Drag Racing photos i have seen in books, and magazines from back in the day, someone is going the opportunity to get a very cool piece of nostalgia today. I have always loved Dusters, when I was 3 years old, 1973, my parents had an Orange 1971 340 Duster, its the first classic car I remember when I was a kid. I have a picture of me standing next to it somewhere. GLWTA”

“I’m the previous owner of this rig. We used it primarily as a rolling billboard for our RV Campground… had our logo on the side. Really drew attention. I can tell you it really drove better than I expected, several hundred miles freeway and highway with no issues. I did add LT tires on the back as well as the booster shocks to help with rocking/swaying. It’s much lighter than it looks, when i bought it three of us picked it up by hand and loaded it on a trailer.”

“Clearly this was an emotional purchase. This is SAAB Number 19 for me, started with 3 cylinder 2 cycles, a pile of 99’s including a 78 Turbo, and then on to the 900s. My wife converted from GM to SAAB with an 83 Turbo before we were married then a 87 Turbo that we brought both daughters home from the hospital in. Daughters still driving 9-3’s we bought them in high school.
My wife really really wanted this car, so as a good husband I had to get it done.”

“On vacation in Europe with my parents in 1965 we were in traffic next to a Ferrari similar to this. Have a vague recollection of the paler blue metallic, a far stronger impression as the traffic cleared was the howl as it disappeared down the road.
My father didn’t give chase in our Austin 1100.”

Our technicians during that time and during 2023 and 2021 records are all former trained factory Lamborghini guys. You can look them up!
As you can see both Motul and Lucas gear oil was used in 2021 and 2023, so I am very confident this is a “ShopWare” typo.
Our software system in the shop was very clunky until recently.
