What to Know About yesterday’s comments of note
A few of the comments that stood out to us yesterday:
“I owned two 1976 Trans Ams back in the ’80s and ’90s: a 400 4spd and a 455 4spd. They are really special cars. I often notice TA owners leave the shaker hood scoops sealed, and I wonder why. It takes a few minutes to remove the plate and the intake noise completely changes the driving experience and adds some power. My friends would ask me to get on it just so they could hear the roar from the shaker scoop which sounded like it would suck in animals and small children if they were too close.…”

“My dad is a 90 year old retired firefighter. I’m wondering what he would say if I showed up in his driveway with this for his upcoming birthday. He’d probably figure out a way to water his tomato plants with it… 🤔😂”

“The previous owner was a good friend of mine that has now gone to the garage in the sky. Seeing this brings up some great memories and I like to think he’s watching the auction from above. This was his final sale before he passed, he was pretty much in his last days during the auction. I was so pleased the auction went so well for him at the time. One final time at BAT and he hit it out of the park! Love ya an miss ya Joe!
And to the next owner of this amazing rig…congrats in advance,…”
