A few of the comments that stood out to us yesterday:
“Nobody ever accused Gus Godley of being a visionary.
In 1959, Gus was a janitor at Chrysler’s Highland Park headquarters, a long way from Fort Stockton, Texas, where common sense was considered a civic virtue and automobiles were generally expected to resemble automobiles. He swept floors, emptied wastebaskets, and consumed enough Folgers to keep a small freight train running on schedule.
One rainy Tuesday morning, Gus was cleaning the Plymouth Design Studio before the stylists arrived.…”

“I think adding the Buick rally wheels was a great choice, especially with the white wall tires. They spice it up a bit without being obnoxious. I imagine that pulling the car cover over this beast would be quite a workout. For me, the only wagon more desirable than this would be a 1968 Olds Vista Cruiser.”

“A V10 Gated Gallardo is a big 12 year old goal for me to own. 12 year old me used to see the Gallardo all the time before the Huracan existed when I was in high school. No newer V10 baby Lambo can replace the Gallardo for being gated and better looking with age. GLWS on this Rosso Italian beauty.”
