“I am the previous of this car and I knew the engineer that built the car. The builder was a very talented engineer and sadly he passed away. I knew the car and I bought it from his estate. The car is a blast to drive and I will miss it. The only reason I have for selling it is that I am getting old and I still have a bucket list of cars that I would like to own before it is too late. “My wife & I got married in July 1978. We packed her little red Chevette to the hilt with all of our wedding gifts and drove from Chicago to Houston with only gas stops along the way. Took us 24 hours! After a few years the drivers floor pan rusted through. A sheet of 3/8 plywood cut to size fixed that. It was no longer the Fred Flintstone mobile! “My first awesome car! Bought slightly used in 1993, it was the dark grey color, almost black, and I put a 1″ drop on it with 16″ Momo 5 spoke wheels. Had a killer sound system in it and absolutely loved that car. Had it stolen in Seattle and recovered a few weeks later pretty much stripped out. Just didn’t feel the same anymore so sold it for what I could and moved on to a Toyota truck. Have owned damn near every Honda since then — Odyssey, Ridgeline, Accord and 2 generations of Civic…”

Straight water freezing in them is the #1 block cracker.
Most times in the lifter valley.
71 YG code 455 , 2bbl Automatic application. 2bolt mains.
Correct application #197 455 HO heads
1972 455 HO 2-piece Intake
Correct 7041267 carb with legit stampings and proper date code.
Cracked/Repaired exhaust manifolds.

As a TCR car homologated by the FIA for championships around the world, “it’s mandatory to use Racing Certified TCR fuel with at least 98RON Unleaded.”
So safe to say you will be fine if you use 98 octane unleaded fuel which is generally available at the track or from any respected vendor.”
