CharlesDawson commented on 1,200-Mile 1987 Buick GNX

“Whoever gets this car is getting a winner. Early 99 builds are the pinnacle of the analog porsche experience. I have a similar cab as a daily driver and it is simply divine. Despite the fact that these are the lower priced Porsches in market, it simply makes it a genius value buy. The best water-cooled setup, analog pulls and cables, and (for my spec) no nannies. ABS ONLY! You cannot go wrong with these year and this build. I’m heavily biased, but I do think this is the ideal Porsche for daily…”

“Such a time warp, this is so cool, and seeing it on that trailer reminds me of all the old Drag Racing photos i have seen in books, and magazines from back in the day, someone is going the opportunity to get a very cool piece of nostalgia today. I have always loved Dusters, when I was 3 years old, 1973, my parents had an Orange 1971 340 Duster, its the first classic car I remember when I was a kid. I have a picture of me standing next to it somewhere. GLWTA”

“I’ve seen this beauty in person, and let me tell you—it’s been meticulously maintained and absolutely babied. The owner has taken incredible care of it, keeping it spotless inside and out. Everything runs smoothly, looks sharp, and feels road-ready without a worry. If you’re looking for a motorhome that’s been treated with pride and attention to detail, this one is a rare find. You won’t just be buying a rig—you’ll be getting peace of mind knowing it’s been loved and cared for…”

“What a lovely, and well driven example! Tasteful mods, and miles and miles of future enjoyment for the next lucky owner. I’ve owned my 97 C4S for 15 years, she just rolled 135k, up from 63k at acquisition. These cars are just such an experience, just so immensely satisfying to drive…and to own.
Good luck to the seller, and fair notice to potential bidders….well sorted, long term owner, well “driven” 993’s are more scarce by the year. This car will continue to turn heads, and…”

“A tip for the seller or new owner: When I replaced the door seals on my E34 M5 I used the seals from an E39. At the time E34 door seals were NLA and the E39 ones were readily available. I had to shorten them a few inches, but otherwise they are a perfect fit.”

Sixspeedbmw commented on 1991 BMW M5 Dinan

“The 550 was, by and large, the end of the gated manual era at Ferrari and was the final model offered exclusively with a 6-speed transmission. Gearbox technology was advancing quickly as Scuderia Ferrari dominated F1, so when the updated 575M was introduced in 2002, nearly all of them came equipped with the F1 transmission. Only 246 575Ms were optioned with the manual gearbox, and its successor, the 599, saw just 30 manuals produced.
