Yesterday’s comments of note You Should Know
A few of the comments that stood out to us yesterday:
“One of the coolest daily drivers of all time. A wagon with a supercharged v8. The six-speed manual is the cherry on top. GLWTA!”
“I was a teenager HS student working at the corner service station. We had a local Dr that had one of these, his was the beautiful dark blue with matching padded top. He would pull in for gas, 27 gallon tank. After putting the car in “Park” he would tilt the wheel which would almost go horizontal on these and throw a small towel that covered the wheel from rim edge to edge. Gas up. Then………the fun would begin! Around to the car wash. Customers would be directed into the wash at the correct…”
“Thks auction has brought back some memories for me. Back in the mid/late fifties my parents had a 1952 Buick Roadmaster woody wagon, maroon with maroon leather interior. It was may fathers favorite car out of many Buicks he had owned. On many warm Sunday afternoons my parents would load me and my brother in the Buick along with a pick nick basket, and sometimes a cocker spaniel, and we’d go for drive.
