Imran Khan asks Akbar S Babar to reunite former PT…

PTI founder Imran Khan has sent an important message to former party colleague and founding member Akbar S Babar from jail. According to Babar, Khan has asked him to play a role in bringing together the party’s early members. He has also been asked to reach out to disgruntled leaders and workers. Babar confirmed that he received the message through another longtime associate of the PTI founder who is currently in jail. The message reportedly focuses on reconnecting with people who were associated with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf during its early years. It also includes party members and workers who later became unhappy with the party leadership or distanced themselves from it. Babar said the message reflects Khan’s desire to bring former colleagues closer together. The aim is to create greater unity among PTI’s old associates and workers. The former PTI leader also shared another significant part of the message. He said Imran Khan told him that after being released from jail, he would first visit Babar’s home. The message is being viewed in the context of PTI’s efforts to maintain political unity. The party has faced internal disagreements and differences among several of its former and current leaders. Akbar S Babar was among the founding members of PTI. He later developed serious differences with the party leadership. His disagreements with the party eventually led to a long-running legal and political dispute. Babar has remained critical of several aspects of PTI’s internal affairs. However, the latest message indicates a possible attempt to reconnect with the party’s early associates. The reported communication also highlights the importance of PTI’s original members and workers. Many of them played a role in establishing the party during its early political years. According to Babar, the message from jail was clear. He has been asked to help bridge differences and bring people together. The development could become significant if former leaders and workers respond positively to the outreach. It may also open the possibility of renewed communication between PTI’s current leadership and some of its former associates. For now, Babar has publicly confirmed receiving the message. Further details about the proposed efforts to reunite former PTI members have not been disclosed.

Karachi government colleges announce Intermediate …

The Sindh College Education Department has officially announced the merit list for Intermediate admissions in government colleges across Karachi, marking an important step for thousands of students seeking admission after completing their matriculation. The newly published lists include the names of students who have successfully secured seats in various government colleges based on merit. According to the department, admissions have been granted strictly on academic performance, ensuring a transparent and fair selection process. Students who have been selected are advised to review the merit list carefully and complete all remaining admission formalities within the given deadline. Officials have confirmed that more than 160,000 applications were received for Intermediate admissions from across Sindh this year. Karachi alone accounted for the largest share, with 98,646 students applying for admission to government colleges. The high number of applications reflects the growing demand for quality public education in the city. The Directorate General of Colleges has instructed all selected students to confirm their admission no later than July 31. Candidates who fail to complete the confirmation process within the deadline may lose their allotted seats, which could then be offered to other eligible applicants under the merit system. Students are encouraged to check their admission status through the official admission portal or by visiting their allocated college. They should also ensure that all required documents are submitted on time to avoid unnecessary delays in the admission process. The education department has emphasized that admissions are being conducted entirely on merit, with students placed in colleges according to their academic scores and available seats. Those who were not selected in the first list may still have an opportunity if additional merit lists are released after the confirmation period. Education experts advise students and parents to stay updated with official announcements and complete every admission requirement before the deadline. Timely confirmation is essential for securing a place in the preferred college and beginning the new academic session without complications. With thousands of students preparing to start their Intermediate education, the release of the merit list represents a significant milestone in the annual admission process. Applicants should act promptly to secure their seats and ensure a smooth transition into the next stage of their academic journey.

    Yasir Nawaz’s sister says ‘Dar-e-Nijat’ mirr…

Pakistani drama Dar-e-Nijat has caught viewers’ attention with its emotional storyline, spiritual themes and complicated relationships. But the drama recently became even more personal after Anzalna Nawaz, sister of actor and director Yasir Nawaz, revealed that the early part of the story strongly resembles her own teenage experience. Anzalna, a social media influencer, said she started watching Dar-e-Nijat partly because she admires actor Sheheryar Munawar. However, she quickly noticed similarities between the drama’s central character, Zaryab, and her own younger self. She admitted that, like Zaryab, she was once deeply in love as a teenager. (Reviewit.pk) According to Anzalna, the boy she loved was also in college. She recalled one particularly impulsive moment from her youth when her family was preparing for Yasir Nawaz’s engagement. While her relatives were busy attending the celebrations at Nida Yasir’s family home, Anzalna secretly left to meet her boyfriend. She said she even went to his car and persuaded him to meet her. Looking back, Anzalna described her behavior as foolish and admitted that she did not think about her father or her three brothers at that moment. The incident was especially significant because Anzalna came from a conservative Baloch family. She explained that she was the only daughter and had always been treated with considerable affection by her family. Her father, however, strongly disapproved of the boy she loved. (Reviewit.pk) When Anzalna returned home, the family celebration was still taking place. Her brothers were angry, while her father reportedly remained quiet but was deeply disappointed by what had happened. Today, Anzalna looks back at that period with regret. She acknowledged that she had allowed her feelings for someone to become more important than a special family occasion. She also suggested that the boy was ultimately not worth the sacrifices she made for him. This personal confession gives Dar-e-Nijat an interesting emotional dimension. The drama follows Zaryab, a young woman whose intense romantic attachment becomes part of a much larger journey involving family expectations, relationships and spirituality. The series, written by Umera Ahmed, explores the contrast between worldly desires and spiritual growth. (Pakistani Cinema) Anzalna’s revelation does not mean that Dar-e-Nijat is officially based on her life. Rather, she has identified a striking resemblance between its early storyline and her own teenage experiences. Her confession also highlights why stories about young love can feel deeply personal. Teenage relationships can make emotions feel overwhelming, sometimes causing people to make decisions they later reconsider. For Anzalna, Dar-e-Nijat appears to have brought back memories of a chapter she now views with greater maturity. Her willingness to discuss those mistakes publicly has also made viewers curious about what happened next in her real-life story. She has hinted that there are more details she may share in the future, leaving audiences waiting to hear the rest of her personal journey.
