Stary Dogs in Turbat

Respected Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I wish to highlight the serious issue of stary dogs in Turbat. There are many dogs on the street.

Recently, a boy in my street was bitten on his leg. Now parents are afraid to send their children to outside.

According to a health officials, report, six people died of rabies. Mostly, they attacks on children and old people.

When they bites, they can spared deadly rabies without quick medical care. Even people feel scared to walk outside early in the morning or late at night.

Stary dogs roam the streets and enters home whenever they can. The government must take serious action to address this issue.

Texas Airports review muslim prayer facilities

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has ordered a review of state grants given to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) over facilities provided for Muslim travelers. The governor has raised concerns about special facilities for Muslims to perform wudu, the Islamic practice of washing before prayer.  He has described the facilities as possible religious discrimination and has also asked the U.S.  Department of Transportation to review the issue. Review of state funding According to a statement from Abbott’s office, Texas will review state grants given to airport authorities.  Officials will consider whether existing funding should be withdrawn or whether the airports should be prevented from receiving future state funds. Abbott argues that government owned facilities should not provide services that appear to favor one religion over others. Facilities at two airports DFW International Airport is planning a dedicated area where Muslim passengers can perform wudu. At Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport a similar facility has already been created along with a space where passengers can pray. Abbott has asked U.S.  Transportation secretary sean duffy to have the Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) review the existing and planned facilities at both airports. He has also called for possible legal or corrective action if officials find that federal rules have been violated. Governor raises religious Discrimination Concerns Abbott says both airports receive federal funding and therefore must follow federal laws related to discrimination. He argues that providing facilities specifically for Muslim religious practices could give special treatment to one religious group. He says government owned airports should provide equal treatment and should not favor one religion over another. The governor also repeated his position on social media saying taxpayer funded public facilities should not allow what he considers illegal religious discrimination. What happens next? The issue will now be reviewed by federal transportation officials and the FAA.  Their response could determine whether any action is taken against the airports or their funding. The controversy has also opened a wider debate about religious freedom equal access  and how public facilities should serve passengers from different religious backgrounds. The case could become an important legal and political discussion about whether providing religious accommodations in public spaces is discrimination or simply a way to meet the needs of different groups.

  • UK approves myqorzo for rare heart disease

The UK has approved a new medicine called Myqorzo to treat obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (oHCM) a rare heart condition that can block blood flow from the heart. The approval was granted by the UK’s medicines regulator on Thursday. At the same time the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommended that eligible adults in England and Wales should receive the treatment through the NHS. oHCM causes the heart muscle to become unusually thick making it harder for the heart to pump blood around the body. Around 1 in every 500 people in the UK has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and about half of the cases are inherited. NICE recommends Myqorzo for adults with symptoms of oHCM who are classified as NYHA Class II or III. The medicine can be used together with standard treatments or on its own if other medicines are not suitable.  Around 6,600 patients are expected to benefit from the treatment. Myqorzo belongs to a group of medicines called cardiac myosin inhibitors the same class as Bristol Myers Squibb’s Camzyos. It works by relaxing the heart muscle reducing the blockage and helping the heart pump blood more effectively.

  • Water during meals may increase food intake

A new study suggests that drinking water again and again while eating may not help with weight loss. Instead it could actually make people eat more food. Many people believe that taking sips of water during a meal helps them feel full faster leading them to eat less. However the new research challenges that common belief. Researchers at Cornell University found that for every extra 100 milliliters of water people drank during a meal they ate about 40 grams more food on average. This equals roughly 50 extra calories. The study also found that people who frequently switched between eating and drinking water consumed more food overall than those who did not. Earlier studies have also shown that people with obesity are more likely to drink water for longer periods during meals drink it more quickly and take frequent sips throughout the meal. Researchers say these findings suggest that the relationship between drinking water during meals and the amount of food people eat may be different from what was previously believed. However they stress that more research is needed before any firm conclusions can be made.
