Tom Holland reveals Zendaya secretly powers his skincare routine

Tom Holland has shared that his wife, Zendaya, is the person behind his skincare routine, revealing that he regularly uses her beauty products without paying much attention to what they actually are.

In a recent interview, the actor admitted he has little knowledge about the skincare items he applies every day because he never buys them himself. Instead, he said Zendaya takes care of stocking their bathroom with creams, moisturizers, and other essentials.

Holland joked that one of the biggest advantages of living with Zendaya is having easy access to her high-end skincare collection. He confessed that he often helps himself to her products, even though he suspects they are much more expensive than he realizes.

The actor also laughed about his habit of using more moisturizer than necessary, saying he probably applies far too much each time. Despite that, he appears happy to leave all skincare-related decisions to Zendaya, trusting her choices rather than shopping for products on his own.

While Holland is known worldwide for portraying Spider-Man on the big screen, he said his daily skincare routine is surprisingly simple whenever he is not filming. Away from movie sets, he prefers to keep things low-maintenance instead of following an elaborate beauty regimen.

According to the actor, his morning routine usually begins with nothing more than splashing water on his face. He added that he makes sure to moisturize and apply sunscreen with SPF protection, but beyond those basics, he does very little to care for his skin.

His comments offer fans a glimpse into the couple’s everyday life, showing that even Hollywood stars often rely on one another for simple routines at home.

The pair also support each other when it comes to fashion. Before attending major premieres, award shows, or promotional events, they often share opinions about each other’s outfits.

Zendaya recently revealed that Holland usually gets an early look at the outfits she plans to wear on the red carpet. Styled by longtime fashion collaborator Law Roach, her looks often become some of the most talked-about moments at public events.

She explained that Holland is generally very supportive of her fashion choices and rarely suggests any changes. According to Zendaya, he almost always likes what he sees and has very few notes before she steps onto the red carpet.

The couple, who have become one of Hollywood’s most admired pairs, continue to balance their successful careers while supporting each other behind the scenes. Whether it is skincare, fashion, or preparing for major public appearances, Holland and Zendaya appear to share a relaxed and encouraging partnership that fans continue to appreciate.

Their latest comments provide another lighthearted look at their relationship, highlighting how small everyday moments—like sharing moisturizer or previewing an outfit—help strengthen their bond beyond the spotlight.

PSX faces heavy selling as KSE-100 index drops over 1,300 points

KARACHI: Selling pressure intensified at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday as investor sentiment weakened amid growing uncertainty over the prospects of a peace agreement between the United States and Iran and the reopening of the strategically important Strait of Hormuz. The benchmark KSE-100 Index came under pressure during the trading session, losing more than 1,300 points as investors remained cautious and reduced exposure to major stocks across several sectors. At around 2pm, the KSE-100 Index stood at 179,996.62 points, showing a decline of 1,313.66 points, or 0.72%, from the previous close. The market witnessed broad-based selling, with several major sectors contributing to the decline. Automobile assemblers, cement companies, commercial banks, fertiliser manufacturers, oil and gas exploration firms and oil marketing companies (OMCs) remained under pressure. Several index-heavy stocks also traded in negative territory. Prominent companies including HUBCO, Mari Petroleum (MARI), Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDC), Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC), Habib Bank Limited (HBL), MCB Bank, Meezan Bank (MEBL) and United Bank Limited (UBL) were among the stocks weighing on the benchmark index. Previous session also ends lower The latest decline follows a weak close in the previous trading session. On Monday, the PSX initially moved higher but lost momentum during the second half of the session as investors opted to book profits in heavyweight shares. The KSE-100 Index eventually closed at 181,310.28 points, down 119.74 points, or 0.07%. The continued weakness suggests that investors are closely monitoring developments in international markets, particularly the situation surrounding oil supplies and the Strait of Hormuz. US-Iran tensions keep markets on edge Global financial markets remained unsettled on Tuesday as hopes for an agreement between Washington and Tehran appeared to fade. Negotiations aimed at ending the conflict and restoring normal shipping through the Strait of Hormuz have encountered fresh difficulties. US President Donald Trump on Monday responded to Iran’s conditions for a possible peace agreement by putting forward his own demands, including calls for compensation related to deaths and losses associated with wars, attacks and protests. The tougher rhetoric has raised concerns that diplomatic efforts could take longer, potentially prolonging disruptions around the crucial maritime route. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most important energy corridors, and prolonged disruption to shipping through the waterway could have significant consequences for crude oil supplies and global energy prices. Oil prices climb to highest level since July 31 The uncertainty surrounding the situation was reflected in international oil markets. Brent crude futures climbed to around $88 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose to approximately $82.45 per barrel. Both benchmarks reached their highest levels since July 31 after recording gains of roughly 5% during Monday’s trading session. Higher oil prices are a major concern for economies that depend heavily on imported energy. For Pakistan, sustained increases in global crude prices could increase the country’s import bill and place additional pressure on external accounts, inflation and domestic fuel prices. The rise in energy prices is also being closely watched by investors because higher input costs can affect corporate profitability and influence monetary policy expectations. Asian markets remain cautious The uncertainty was not limited to Pakistan. Asian equity markets moved within a narrow range as investors assessed the potential impact of rising energy prices on inflation and economic growth. MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan moved between gains and losses before trading modestly higher. South Korea’s Kospi also recorded a slight increase. However, the escalation in tensions around the Gulf kept overall market sentiment fragile, with investors remaining wary of further developments that could affect energy supplies and global trade. US stock futures were also slightly positive on Tuesday. Nasdaq futures rose around 0.28%, while S&P 500 futures gained approximately 0.1%, following a weaker session on Wall Street on Monday. Inflation data in focus Investors are also awaiting the latest US consumer price data, which could provide further clues about the direction of interest rates and inflationary pressures in the world’s largest economy. The increase in crude oil prices has added another element of uncertainty ahead of the inflation report. A sustained rise in fuel and energy costs could complicate efforts to bring inflation closer to central-bank targets. For Pakistani investors, the combination of geopolitical uncertainty, higher global oil prices and pressure on heavyweight shares is likely to remain a key factor influencing trading sentiment in the near term.

Former Pakistan Test captain and wicketkeeper-batter Rashid Latif has called on Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi to make better use of former captain Younis Khan’s expertise for the growth and development of cricket in the country. Latif believes that experienced former players like Younis Khan can play a significant role in nurturing young talent and strengthening Pakistan’s cricket structure. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the Younis Khan Cricket Academy at KHA Legend Arena in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Rashid Latif stressed the need to put Pakistan cricket on the right path by involving accomplished cricketers in the development process. He said Younis Khan’s vast experience and commitment to the game make him one of the best individuals to guide the next generation of players. Latif also reflected on Karachi’s rich cricketing history, noting that there was a time when the Pakistan national team featured a large number of players from the city. However, he said the situation has changed over the years, and Karachi no longer contributes players at the same level as it once did. Highlighting the importance of Karachi’s Malir district, Rashid Latif said the area has produced several outstanding cricketers, including Saeed Anwar, Khurram Manzoor, Asim Kamal, Younis Khan, and himself. According to him, the region has long been a breeding ground for cricketing talent and deserves continued investment in player development. The former captain also pointed out that while many of Younis Khan’s contemporaries are seeking positions within the Pakistan Cricket Board, Younis has remained focused on serving the game by working directly with aspiring cricketers. Latif praised this dedication, saying it reflects Younis Khan’s genuine passion for Pakistan cricket. Rashid Latif expressed confidence that the Younis Khan Cricket Academy will help revive grassroots cricket in Karachi by providing young players with quality coaching and professional guidance. He emphasized that similar initiatives can strengthen the country’s cricketing future if supported by the PCB and other stakeholders. Concluding his remarks, Latif paid tribute to Younis Khan’s remarkable achievements, describing his record of more than 10,000 Test runs and 34 Test centuries as an extraordinary milestone. He said cricketers of Younis Khan’s caliber are produced only once in a generation, making it essential for Pakistan cricket to benefit from his experience and leadership.

Berlin Pride turns tragic as car hits crowd, 1 dea…

BERLIN: A celebration that had drawn huge crowds to Berlin for Christopher Street Day ended in tragedy late Saturday when a vehicle drove into people near the event, killing one person and injuring at least 16 others. The incident happened shortly after 10pm local time in the Tiergarten area, near the route of the Pride celebrations. Emergency services rushed to the scene as police launched a major operation and ordered people to leave the area. According to police, the vehicle struck several people before the driver fled the scene. One person died, while 16 others were injured. Several victims were reported to be in serious or life-threatening condition, adding to the shock surrounding an event that had begun peacefully. Authorities quickly called off the remaining Christopher Street Day celebrations and urged visitors to stay away from the affected area. Police and rescue teams remained deployed around Tiergarten as investigators worked to establish exactly what happened and why. The incident also triggered an immediate search for the suspected driver. Police said they had identified a possible suspect but had not initially confirmed an arrest. German authorities were investigating the circumstances and motive behind the vehicle attack. Berlin Mayor Kai Wegner described the incident as an attack on the city’s free and cosmopolitan society, expressing sympathy for the victims and their families. He also praised emergency responders who arrived at the scene shortly after the incident. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz also condemned the incident and pledged that those responsible would face justice. Christopher Street Day is both a major Pride gathering and a public demonstration for LGBTQ+ rights, equality and freedom. What had started as a day of colorful parades, music and crowds waving rainbow flags ended with emergency vehicles filling the streets and the celebration being abruptly abandoned. Police have urged members of the public to avoid the area while the investigation continues and to rely on official information rather than unverified reports circulating online.
