Jennifer Aniston’s changing priorities spark con…

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly entering a new chapter in her personal life, but not everyone in her inner circle is convinced it is the right move. According to recent reports, the Friends star has been shifting her priorities away from work and placing a greater focus on her personal relationships, a decision that has reportedly prompted concern among some of those closest to her. While Aniston has not publicly addressed the claims, insiders suggest the actress is embracing a slower pace after years of balancing an intense Hollywood career.

A source claimed that Aniston’s priorities have “completely shifted,” with more of her time now dedicated to her relationship with boyfriend Jim Curtis. The report suggests that some friends have advised the actress to “pump the brakes,” expressing concern that she may be making significant life changes too quickly. However, those close to Aniston also acknowledge that she appears genuinely happy and is making decisions she believes are best for her future.

The reported shift comes after Aniston has openly spoken about the importance of achieving a healthier work-life balance. In previous interviews with People, the Emmy-winning actress admitted that she has long considered herself “a bit of a workaholic” and recognized the need to make time for herself after several demanding years. She explained that she has become more intentional about scheduling breaks and protecting her personal time to avoid burnout.

Over the past few years, Aniston has remained one of Hollywood’s busiest stars. In addition to starring in and executive producing Apple TV+’s The Morning Show, she has continued expanding her successful haircare brand, LolaVie, while also pursuing new film and television projects. Her packed schedule has left little room for downtime, making her recent focus on personal happiness understandable.

Despite speculation that her career could take a back seat, there is no indication that Aniston plans to retire from acting. Instead, reports suggest she is simply becoming more selective about the projects she chooses, allowing herself greater flexibility to enjoy life outside of work. Friends and colleagues may have differing opinions about her changing priorities, but Aniston has consistently emphasized that maintaining balance is essential to both her personal well-being and professional success.

Throughout her decades-long career, Aniston has built a reputation as one of Hollywood’s most respected and reliable performers. From her iconic role as Rachel Green on Friends to her award-winning performance in The Morning Show, she has demonstrated remarkable consistency and longevity. That success gives her the freedom to make choices based on fulfillment rather than constant professional ambition.

Whether the reported concerns from her inner circle are justified remains unclear, as they are based on anonymous sources rather than public statements from the actress herself. What is evident, however, is that Jennifer Aniston has become increasingly vocal about protecting her peace, valuing meaningful relationships, and creating a healthier balance between work and life. If those priorities continue to shape her future, they may ultimately strengthen both her personal happiness and her enduring career.

Gal Gadot says motherhood turned her into a ‘lioness’

Gal Gadot is opening up about how motherhood has deeply shaped her latest on-screen role. The actress admitted becoming a mother gave her direct access to emotions she couldn’t have understood otherwise. The “Snow White” star, who is a mother of four, plays a woman whose son gets kidnapped in her upcoming film “The Runner.” She reflected on the emotional weight of the role in a new interview with Modern Luxury magazine. Gadot explained that becoming a mother essentially turns a woman into a protector, almost like a lioness. She said nothing matters more than the safety of one’s children, regardless of background or beliefs. According to her, that protective instinct is something virtually every parent shares. She described the fear of being unable to protect your child as one of the deepest fears any mother carries. Gadot said that exact fear defines her character Maia’s journey throughout the film. She explained that Maia is not portrayed as a superhero with all the answers. Instead, she said, Maia makes mistakes, doubts herself and often feels scared. Despite that, Gadot noted, her character keeps pushing forward regardless of the fear she’s carrying. She said that quality is what she personally finds most inspiring about the role. According to Gadot, real courage is not about being fearless, but about continuing forward even while afraid. The “Wonder Woman” star also spoke more broadly about how motherhood has shaped her as a performer. She described it as the deepest emotional well she has access to as an actress. Gadot explained that motherhood gives her emotional insight that simply can not be reached through logic or preparation alone. She said those feelings are something you can only truly access by living through them yourself. Her comments offer a personal look into how her real-life experiences as a mother are influencing her more emotionally driven roles. “The Runner” is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 2, giving audiences their first look at Gadot’s latest performance.

Punjab allocates Rs12.52bn for local polls after 1…

The Punjab government has taken a major step towards holding long-delayed local government elections, approving Rs12.52 billion for the polls that could finally restore elected local councils across the province after an 11-year gap. The decision was taken during the 36th meeting of the Punjab Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. The allocation signals that the provincial government is preparing for a fresh local election process after years of political, legal and administrative delays. Punjab last held local government elections in 2015, during the tenure of former chief minister Shehbaz Sharif. Polling was conducted in phases between October and December that year, while elected councils formally assumed office in 2017 following indirect elections for mayors and chairpersons. However, the local government system subsequently faced repeated disruptions. The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government dissolved the elected local bodies in April 2019 before their scheduled completion. Although the Supreme Court later ordered their restoration, the councils eventually completed their term on December 31, 2021. Under Article 140A of the Constitution and the Elections Act, local government elections are required within 120 days after the expiry of local councils. This meant Punjab’s next elections were due in April 2022. Yet successive governments repeatedly changed local government laws, forcing the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to restart key preparations. Polls Could Be Held by November The latest development has raised hopes that Punjab may finally see local elections later this year. PILDAT President Ahmad Bilal Mehboob welcomed the cabinet’s decision to allocate funds, describing it as a positive indication that the electoral process could move forward. He said the ECP had completed the demarcation and delimitation process and dealt with objections, making it possible for the commission to announce an election schedule after August 17. According to Mehboob, if there is no “unseen factor”, local government elections could be held in Punjab by November 2026. The move could also have wider political implications. Asked whether the PML-N government’s decision might ease pressure surrounding demands for the creation of new provinces, Mehboob said provincial restructuring remained a complex issue. However, he noted that holding local elections could, to some extent, reduce the pressure for new provinces by strengthening grassroots representation. For millions of Punjab residents, the key question now is whether the latest budget allocation will finally translate into polling stations, elected councils and a functioning local government system after years of waiting.

Tom Holland wants Peter Parker to stay a hero kids can look up to

Tom Holland believes playing Spider-Man comes with a responsibility that goes well beyond the movie theatre. The actor opened up about this at the Los Angeles premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, speaking to People about what the role means to him. Holland reflected on how many young fans grow up watching the franchise. He said the biggest responsibility that comes with making these films is ensuring kids always have someone worth looking up to. He was quick to clarify that this admiration is not meant for him personally, but for the character of Peter Parker himself. Holland spoke about his own connection to the character, admitting that he had looked up to Peter Parker long before he ever played him. He said the character has been a personal role model since childhood, and that feeling has only grown stronger since taking on the role. He added that he does not take this responsibility lightly, calling it something genuinely important to him. Holland is the third actor to bring Peter Parker to life on the big screen. He followed in the footsteps of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, both of whom played the iconic web-slinger before him. Each actor has brought a slightly different take to the role, but the character’s core values have remained largely the same across all three versions. Spider-Man: Brand New Day officially released in theatres worldwide on July 31, 2026, marking another chapter in Holland’s long run as the beloved superhero. The film arrives with high expectations from fans who have followed his journey as Peter Parker since his debut in the role years ago. For Holland, though, the appeal of the character clearly goes beyond box office numbers or franchise milestones. His comments suggest a deeper personal investment in what Spider-Man represents, especially for the younger audiences who watch these films and see a bit of themselves in Peter Parker’s journey. As the film makes its way to audiences everywhere, Holland’s reflections offer a glimpse into how seriously he takes the responsibility of playing one of pop culture’s most enduring and relatable superheroes.
