Pattaya Mayor Presides Over Closing Ceremony of Student Vocational Training Program

PATTAYA, Thailand – August 10th, 2026

Pattaya City Mayor Mr. Poramese Ngamphichet presided over the closing ceremony of the vocational skills learning project for students from schools under Pattaya City for fiscal year 2026. He presented certificates, delivered remarks, and inspected exhibition booths showcasing the students’ work.

The event took place at Suphannika Meeting Room 2 at Pattaya Technical College. Attendees included Mr. Bancha Kullawanit, Secretary to the Mayor of Pattaya City; school administrators; teachers and lecturers from Pattaya Technical College and schools under Pattaya City; distinguished guests; and the participating students.

The Education Office of Pattaya City, along with Pattaya Technical College, organized short-term vocational training courses totaling 45 hours for students from schools under the city’s jurisdiction. The sessions were held on Saturdays and Sundays from July 4th to August 1st, 2026, in the laboratories of Pattaya Technical College.

Five courses were offered:
– Basic Chinese language
– Video and audio editing
– Motorcycle repair
– Electrical appliance repair and installation
– Motorcycle spray painting

A total of 90 students successfully completed the training. The program was to equip them with practical knowledge and professional skills through hands-on learning, enabling them to apply what they learned in daily life, further their education, or develop competencies for future careers.

This is part of Pattaya City’s commitment to developing the potential of its youth by promoting vocational skills and experiential learning. It seeks to prepare students to effectively build upon their knowledge and create educational and career opportunities in the future.
