Salman Khan reunites with Sanjay Dutt in emotional post

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan shared a heartfelt moment with longtime friend and fellow actor Sanjay Dutt, delighting fans with an emotional reunion that quickly went viral on social media. The touching post, shared on Instagram on July 31, came just days after Dutt celebrated his 67th birthday and highlighted the enduring bond between the two stars.
The Instagram post featured two candid photographs showing Salman warmly embracing Sanjay Dutt, while the veteran actor returned the hug with equal affection. The reunion reflected a friendship that has lasted for decades, with both actors having worked together in several films and often referring to each other as family.
Alongside the pictures, Salman penned an emotional tribute to Dutt, writing:
“Babaaaa forever baba and baba is baba. Sanju baba is the baba of all of us and Sanju baba is now the baba of his children, my elder brother Sanjay Dutt, may Allah, Bhagwan, Jesus all keep this man happy, I love you Baba.”
The heartfelt message received an equally warm response from Dutt, who replied in the comments:
“Brothers for life, love you bhaijaan.”
The exchange between the two actors quickly captured fans’ attention, with thousands flooding the comments section to celebrate their friendship. Many described the reunion as one of the most heartwarming celebrity moments of the year, praising the pair for maintaining such a close relationship despite their busy careers.
The emotional reunion came only two days after Sanjay Dutt celebrated his 67th birthday on July 29, 2026. Salman chose the occasion to publicly express his affection and respect for the actor, whom he has often referred to as an elder brother. Their friendship has remained one of Bollywood’s strongest, surviving decades of personal and professional challenges.
The post also arrived amid growing concern over Salman’s health. Earlier this week, the actor attended the inauguration of the newly developed Data Collection and Segregation Support Centre (IT Server Room) at Mumbai’s Slum Rehabilitation Authority office. Videos from the event showed Salman appearing noticeably lean and tired, prompting fresh speculation about his well-being.
Some fans wondered whether the actor might once again be dealing with trigeminal neuralgia, a chronic facial pain condition often referred to as the “suicide disease.” Salman has previously spoken about battling the condition and undergoing surgery in 2011 after enduring years of severe pain. However, the actor has not commented on the latest speculation surrounding his health.
Despite the ongoing concerns, Salman’s emotional reunion with Sanjay Dutt shifted the focus to their long-standing friendship. Fans praised the two actors for their genuine affection and hoped to see them share the screen again in the future. The touching exchange served as a reminder that, beyond their successful careers, the bond between Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt remains as strong as ever.

New petrol and diesel prices announced for August …

The federal government has announced a slight reduction in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel, issuing a fresh notification through the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division). The revised fuel prices will come into effect from August 1, 2026, and will remain applicable until August 3, 2026. According to the official notification, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) determined the new petroleum product prices under the pricing mechanism approved by the federal government. The latest revision provides modest relief to consumers amid fluctuating international oil prices. Under the new rates, the price of petrol has been reduced by 12 paisa per litre, bringing the new price to Rs. 336.03 per litre. Previously, petrol was being sold at Rs. 336.15 per litre. Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been cut by 66 paisa per litre. The revised price has been set at Rs. 392.38 per litre, compared with the previous rate of Rs. 393.04 per litre. Although the reductions are relatively small, they reflect the government’s periodic review of petroleum prices based on recommendations from OGRA and prevailing market conditions. Fuel prices in Pakistan are reviewed regularly, taking into account changes in international crude oil prices, exchange rate fluctuations, and applicable taxes and levies. Petrol is widely used by private vehicles, motorcycles, and small transport operators, while high-speed diesel is the primary fuel for heavy transport, agriculture, and industrial machinery. Any change in fuel prices can have a direct impact on transportation costs, inflation, and the prices of essential goods. The Ministry of Energy stated that the revised prices have been implemented in accordance with the government’s petroleum pricing policy. Consumers across the country will pay the new rates at fuel stations from August 1. The latest price adjustment comes as authorities continue to monitor global energy markets and domestic economic conditions. Future revisions will depend on international oil price trends, currency movements, and recommendations made by OGRA under the government’s approved pricing mechanism.

  • AI won’t replace jobs, says Mark Zuckerberg

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has dismissed one of the most common predictions about artificial intelligence (AI) saying that the technology will not lead to widespread job losses. There has been ongoing debate about the potential risks AI poses to humanity with many experts predicting that millions of people could lose their jobs as AI becomes more advanced. In a recent opinion article written for a U.S. newspaper, Zuckerberg argued that the future of AI will depend less on the technology itself and more on who controls it. He said that advanced AI should be widely accessible to the public rather than being controlled by governments or a handful of powerful organizations. According to Zuckerberg, broader public access to AI will create new opportunities, enable more people to start businesses and ultimately generate more jobs. He also said he finds it surprising that many people working in AI warn that the technology will eliminate large numbers of jobs and reduce humanity’s role while continuing to actively develop it. Zuckerberg added that it is difficult to understand why someone would continue building a technology if they truly believed it was inherently dangerous. He emphasized that he sees AI as a tool that can help people improve their lives and achieve greater success. According to Zuckerberg, history has repeatedly shown that transformative technologies have helped ordinary people progress rather than simply replacing them.
