D4vd’s Apple Music hacked during court hearing

American singer d4vd’s Apple Music account was reportedly hacked after an unauthorised track appeared on his artist profile while he was attending a preliminary court hearing in the murder case linked to the death of teenager Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The incident quickly drew attention online as fans noticed unusual activity on the singer’s streaming page.
According to screenshots obtained by TMZ, d4vd’s Apple Music profile briefly displayed a fake song titled I DID IT…, which had not been officially released by the artist. Fans soon linked the track to an unreleased demo believed to be called Celeste, sparking widespread speculation across social media.
Although the demo was never officially released, listeners recognised parts of its lyrics. One of the lines reportedly heard in the leaked track reads, “Oh Celeste, the girl with my name tattooed on her chest.” The appearance of the song during the ongoing court proceedings further fuelled online discussion surrounding the case.
The reported hack came as d4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, attended preliminary hearings in Los Angeles Superior Court. Prosecutors are presenting evidence in a case accusing Burke of murdering 13-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who was found dead in 2025. He has denied the allegations, and the legal proceedings remain ongoing.
During the fourth day of hearings on July 24, prosecutors presented text messages exchanged between Burke and Rivas Hernandez in January 2024. The messages reportedly discussed a pregnancy and abortion.
According to court records, Rivas Hernandez wrote, “Both of us aren’t able to take care of it.” Burke allegedly replied, “I know but still.” Prosecutors displayed the messages as part of the evidence supporting the case against the singer.
Authorities allege that Rivas Hernandez was killed in April 2025 at Burke’s Hollywood Hills home. Her remains were discovered several months later, in September 2025, inside a Tesla registered to the singer. Following an investigation, officials ruled her death a homicide.
Burke was arrested on April 17, 2026, nearly a year after investigators concluded that the teenager had been killed on April 23, 2025. He now faces murder charges, and the case continues to move through the court system. The unauthorised upload on his Apple Music profile has added another layer of public attention to an already high-profile legal case, though there is no indication that the singer was connected to the apparent hack.

According to the report, the proposed Gaza International Stabilisation Force is expected to consist of approximately 20,000 personnel from multiple countries. The force is reportedly planned under a proposal associated with US President Donald Trump’s Board of Peace and would be commanded by US Major General Jasper Jeffers. The mission is intended to help maintain law and order in Gaza following the end of hostilities between Israel and Hamas. Reports indicate that the proposal was first introduced earlier this year as part of broader discussions on post-conflict governance and security arrangements in the territory. The development follows recent announcements regarding a reported agreement under which Hamas would disarm and Israel would gradually withdraw its military forces from Gaza. Under the reported framework, the international stabilisation force would be deployed after the phased Israeli withdrawal.     Lahore: The 5th meeting of the Board of the Punjab Women Protection Authority (PWPA) was held under the chairpersonship of Ms. Hina Pervaiz Butt, where members reviewed the Authority’s performance and approved a series of important policy and administrative measures aimed at strengthening institutional capacity and expanding protection services for women across Punjab. The Board reviewed the implementation status of decisions taken during its previous meeting and expressed satisfaction over the progress achieved. Members emphasized the importance of further strengthening the Authority to ensure accessible, effective and survivor-centred services for women throughout the province. The Board approved the revised organizational structure of PWPA and stressed the need for the early filling of vacant positions to enhance the Authority’s operational efficiency and institutional capacity. The Board also approved the Punjab Women Protection Authority (Terms and Conditions of Service) Regulations, 2026, including revised provisions relating to appointments and service matters, to establish a transparent and efficient human resource framework for the Authority. It was further decided that the Punjab Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Department will undertake development initiatives relating to the establishment of new PWPA facilities and infrastructure in coordination with the Authority. Director General Punjab Women Protection Authority, Dr. Lubna Nazir, briefed the Board on the Authority’s recent achievements, including the digitization of case records, implementation of awareness campaigns, progress in service delivery, and the increasing number of registered cases being handled by PWPA. She also informed the Board that the Authority had received more than 3,000 applications for its Internship Programme, reflecting growing public confidence and youth engagement. Dr. Lubna Nazir further informed the Board that the PWPA Helpline has been upgraded to a toll-free service (0800-01737) to make support services more accessible to women across Punjab. During the meeting, Secretary Punjab Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Department, Ms. Sara Omar, emphasized that every woman in Punjab who needs assistance should have access to PWPA’s services. She underlined that achieving this objective requires further strengthening the Authority through enhanced human resources, institutional development, and capacity building so that PWPA can effectively extend its outreach across the province. The Board also appreciated the Authority’s growing collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), acknowledging its role as an important development partner supporting institutional strengthening and capacity-building initiatives. Speaking on the occasion, Chairperson Hina Pervaiz Butt reaffirmed PWPA’s commitment to working in close coordination with all relevant government departments and partner organizations to further strengthen Punjab’s women protection system. She stated that under the leadership and special focus of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Government of Punjab is committed to building strong and responsive institutions that provide timely protection, legal assistance, rehabilitation, psychosocial support, and other essential services to women across the province. The Chairperson thanked all Board members for their valuable input and reiterated the Authority’s resolve to implement the Board’s decisions effectively to further strengthen the protection framework for women in Punjab.

    Floodwaters have spread across large parts of Punjab as heavy monsoon rains continue to put pressure on drainage systems and rivers. The Ravi and Chenab rivers are expected to rise further over the next 24 hours, raising concerns about flooding in several districts. In some areas, the scale of flooding has created extensive stretches of standing water across roads and agricultural land. The Ravi River has also recorded a significant increase in its flow. Water discharge at Shahdara in Lahore was reported at around 22,000 cusecs, while the flow at Balloki rose to nearly 87,000 cusecs. Officials attributed the sharp increase to heavy rainfall and additional water entering the river through drains. Authorities warned that the situation could take several days to improve. The recovery will depend heavily on weather conditions and whether further heavy rainfall occurs. The Chenab is currently experiencing medium-level flooding at several points, while the Ravi remains at lower levels in some locations. However, forecasts indicate that both rivers could reach medium to high flood levels within the next 24 hours. The Chenab is being closely monitored at Marala, Khanki and Qadirabad. The Ravi is also under watch at Balloki and Sidhnai. Other major rivers are being monitored at key stations as authorities assess the impact of rising water levels. With more rain forecast, district administrations have been placed on high alert. Officials in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Narowal and Khanewal are reviewing emergency plans and strengthening flood-monitoring arrangements. In Lahore, officials inspected areas around the Hudiara Drain following heavy rainfall. Teams reviewed drainage operations and monitored the movement of rainwater in affected areas. Authorities also inspected vulnerable points and drainage channels to identify blockages that could worsen urban flooding. Officials have been directed to clear choking points and improve the flow of water. In Nankana Sahib, senior administration officials reviewed the flood situation and emergency response arrangements. Areas affected by river erosion were inspected, while evacuation, rescue and relief plans were also assessed. Khanewal officials inspected Sidhnai Headworks and several flood protection sites. They reviewed the condition of protective embankments and assessed preparedness measures in case river levels rise further. Authorities have urged district administrations to remain vigilant as the next 24 hours could prove critical. Rescue, evacuation and relief teams are being kept ready in vulnerable areas.
