New details emerge about Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wi…

Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson have reportedly ended their engagement after months of relationship challenges, bringing an end to a romance that had captured the attention of fans following their surprise engagement in 2025.

According to a new report from People magazine, the television personality, 41, and the Slipknot DJ, 49, recently decided to go their separate ways after experiencing ongoing difficulties in their relationship. An insider claimed the pair had been struggling for several months before reaching the decision to end their engagement.

The couple first began dating in early 2022 after being friends for more than two decades. They welcomed their son, Sidney, later that year and announced their engagement in July 2025 during Ozzy Osbourne’s final Black Sabbath concert in Birmingham. At the time, the proposal was celebrated by family members and fans, making the reported breakup all the more surprising.

A source close to the situation told People that Osbourne “is not happy” and no longer wants unnecessary drama in her life. The insider added that she is currently prioritizing peace, focusing on raising her son, and supporting her mother, Sharon Osbourne, following the death of her father, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, in July 2025.

In recent days, Osbourne also shared a series of emotional Instagram Stories that appeared to reference the breakup. While she did not mention Wilson by name, she spoke about protecting her son, moving forward with her life, and asked for the return of personal belongings and pets. She also appeared to reference child support, fueling further speculation about the state of their relationship. Neither Osbourne nor Wilson has publicly commented directly on the reported split.

The breakup comes during an especially emotional period for Osbourne. In addition to grieving the loss of her father, she has largely stepped away from the spotlight to focus on her family and personal well-being. Sources say the combination of grief, changing priorities, and ongoing relationship issues placed significant strain on the engagement over the past several months.

Meanwhile, Wilson has also faced professional uncertainty after reports claimed he was removed from Slipknot, although neither the band nor the musician has officially confirmed those reports. The timing has only added to speculation surrounding the former couple’s recent challenges.

Although the engagement appears to be over, both Osbourne and Wilson remain devoted parents to their young son. For now, those close to the family say Osbourne’s focus is on creating a stable environment for Sidney while taking time to heal from a series of personal hardships.

While neither star has issued an official statement about the breakup, the latest reports suggest that after months of trying to make the relationship work, Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson have chosen separate paths as they begin a new chapter in their lives.

Hundreds arrested in France as destructive wildfires spread across Europe

European emergency services are battling fierce wildfires triggered by a record-breaking heatwave, with French authorities arresting nearly 500 individuals on suspicion of starting blazes since July 1. France’s interior ministry reported that 474 people, including 183 minors, have been detained, with approximately 70% suspected of intentional arson. In south-west France, a rapid blaze in the Landes region consumed nearly 1,100 hectares of pine forest in under 24 hours, prompting the emergency evacuation of more than 525 residents from the village of Luglon. The severe weather conditions have caused destruction and displacement across multiple European countries. In Croatia, a gale-driven wildfire swept through the coastal tourist town of Lokva Rogoznica, leaving one person dead, 40 injured, and forcing 1,200 people to evacuate to emergency shelters. In western Germany, over 2,000 residents fled the village of Gey as a forest fire advanced, while emergency crews faced additional hazards from detonating Second World War ammunition buried in the terrain. Elsewhere on the continent, military personnel in north-east Spain evacuated the historical remains of three 11th-century kings from the San Juan de la Peña monastery as flames threatened the site. In northern Greece, a fleet of small boats rescued approximately 500 holidaymakers stranded on beaches along the Halkidiki peninsula after a two-mile fire front threatened local resorts. Firefighters in the UK also faced severe conditions, as wildfires across the West Midlands destroyed several residential properties.

Megan Fox shuts down age-shaming troll over bold photos

Megan Fox has once again made it clear that she has no intention of letting online criticism dictate how she presents herself. The actress recently responded to an Instagram user who made an age-shaming comment about her decision to share bold photographs at the age of 40. On Thursday, August 13, Fox took to Instagram to share a series of striking images from a recent photoshoot. In the pictures, the actress wore a leather bandeau-style top with matching chaps and string underwear. She completed the look with a bright green furry coat, dark sunglasses and a chunky necklace, creating a dramatic and confident appearance. While many of her followers praised the photos and admired her fashion choices, one social media user criticized Fox for posting revealing pictures at her age. The commenter suggested that Fox was “already old” and claimed that she should not be sharing such images now that she is 40. Rather than ignoring the remark, Fox responded directly and appeared completely unfazed by the criticism. The “Jennifer’s Body” star delivered a short but confident reply, telling the commenter, “Then don’t watch, sister.” Her response quickly drew attention online, with many fans supporting the actress for refusing to entertain age-based criticism. Fox’s reply also reflects her long-standing approach to conversations surrounding beauty, confidence and public expectations placed on women. Although Fox has been widely described as a sex symbol throughout her career, she has previously spoken openly about having a complicated relationship with her appearance. In a 2021 interview with British GQ, she discussed the insecurities that exist behind the image people often see on screen and social media. Fox explained that people can appear extremely confident and beautiful to others while privately struggling with their own self-image. She also revealed that she experiences body dysmorphia and has dealt with deep insecurities. Despite those challenges, the actress has continued to embrace her individuality and make her own choices about fashion and self-expression. Her latest Instagram post appears to be another example of Fox refusing to let other people’s opinions determine what she wears or how she presents herself. Beyond her career and public image, Fox is also focused on her personal life and motherhood. She is a mother of four children. She shares three sons, Noah, Bodhi and Journey, with her former husband Brian Austin Green. She also has a daughter, Saga Blade, with her former fiancé Machine Gun Kelly. As she navigates life as a mother and embraces a new chapter, Fox appears determined to remain confident in her choices. Her brief response to the Instagram troll has once again shown that she is willing to shut down unnecessary criticism on her own terms.

Mohsen Rezaei takes Iran’s top security post

Iran has appointed veteran Revolutionary Guards commander Mohsen Rezaei as secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), placing a prominent security figure in a senior position at a sensitive time for the country. Rezaei, 71, replaces Mohammad Baqer Zolqadr as secretary of the council. Zolqadr has instead been appointed as a political adviser to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei. The SNSC plays a central role in coordinating Iran’s national security and foreign policy. It is formally chaired by President Masoud Pezeshkian and includes senior military, intelligence and government officials. Rezaei brings decades of military and political experience to the position. He joined the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) after the 1979 Islamic Revolution and became its commander in 1981, when he was only 27. He remained at the helm of the IRGC for 16 years. Much of his tenure coincided with the Iran-Iraq war from 1980 to 1988. During that period, he oversaw the development of the organisation’s land, naval and air capabilities. After leaving the IRGC command, Rezaei remained an influential figure within Iran’s political and security establishment. He later served for more than two decades as secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council. He also entered electoral politics and repeatedly sought the presidency of Iran. From 2021 to 2023, he served as vice president for economic affairs under former President Ebrahim Raisi. Rezaei holds a doctorate in economics from the University of Tehran, although much of his career has been focused on military, security and political affairs. His relationship with Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is another significant factor behind his new appointment. Rezaei was named a military adviser to Khamenei after the latter assumed the supreme leadership earlier this year. Khamenei also issued a decree appointing Rezaei as his representative on the SNSC. The decree highlighted Rezaei’s extensive military experience, particularly his role during the Iran-Iraq war. During the ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States and Israel, Rezaei has frequently made public statements on security and foreign policy issues. He has expressed strong opposition to concessions in negotiations with Washington and has repeatedly taken a hard-line position on Iran’s security interests. His appointment therefore places an experienced IRGC commander at the centre of Iran’s national security decision-making structure. Rezaei’s political journey began even before the Islamic Revolution. As a teenager, he became involved in opposition activities against Iran’s Pahlavi monarchy. He was arrested by SAVAK, the Shah’s security service, in 1973.

Two police personnel were martyred after armed assailants opened fire on them in Lahore’s Badami Bagh area on Thursday evening, according to police officials. The victims were identified as Sub-Inspector Adeel and Head Constable Asad, both of whom were deployed at Lorry Adda police station. Police said the two officers were attacked within the jurisdiction of Badami Bagh police station. According to initial reports, armed assailants opened fire on the officers before fleeing the scene. Both personnel suffered critical bullet injuries and later succumbed to their wounds. Police have identified Rehan Butt as the alleged main suspect in the attack, while efforts are continuing to determine the identities and whereabouts of his suspected accomplices. DIG Operations Faisal Kamran reached the scene with a heavy police contingent and supervised the initial investigation. The area was cordoned off as investigators collected evidence and examined the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The DIG directed the SP City to ensure the immediate arrest of those involved. Police teams have been deployed across different locations and are conducting raids to apprehend Rehan Butt and the other suspects. Preliminary police information described Butt as a suspected dangerous shooter who was already wanted by authorities. Investigators are also examining whether the attack could be connected to an earlier police encounter involving his brother, Faizan Butt. Police said the case was being investigated from all angles and that further information would be released as the investigation progresses. DIG Kamran described the deaths of the two officers as a tragic loss, saying they had sacrificed their lives while carrying out their duties. He vowed that police would continue their efforts until all suspects were arrested. Punjab Inspector General of Police Abdul Karim also took notice of the incident and sought a report from the Lahore DIG Operations. He directed police to use all available resources to arrest those responsible. The IG paid tribute to the martyred officers and ordered that their bereaved families receive complete care and welfare support. The Lahore Badami Bagh firing has prompted an intensified police operation, with investigators continuing raids and gathering evidence to establish the full circumstances behind the deadly attack.
