Noor Bukhari concerned over Moammar Rana’s health crisis

Noor Bukhari, a well-known former Pakistani film actress and model, has expressed concern over the deteriorating health of veteran actor Moammar Rana, saying she feels deeply saddened by his current condition and believes he needs strong support from his family.

Noor began her acting career at a very young age and entered the Pakistani film industry when she was just 14. Over the years, she appeared in numerous successful films and worked with some of the biggest stars of her generation. Her notable projects include Mujhe Chaand Chahiye, Ghar Kab Aao Ge, Uff Yeh Larkiyan, and Main Noor Ka Parastaar Hoon. In recent years, she made a major change in her lifestyle after leaving showbiz and turning towards Islam. She later remarried Aun Chaudhary, the father of her daughter, and has since focused much of her attention on her family and children.

Recently, Noor appeared as a guest on Ambreen Fatima’s YouTube talk show, where she spoke openly about Moammar Rana and the concerns surrounding his health and reported alcohol addiction.

While discussing the veteran actor, Noor described him as a good-hearted person and said she felt emotional after seeing some of his recent videos circulating on social media. She revealed that watching his reels had brought tears to her eyes because she could not understand how he had reached his current situation.

Noor emphasized that Moammar Rana had always been regarded as a major star in the Pakistani film industry. According to her, audiences had seen him at the height of his career and would continue to remember him as a superstar. She expressed sadness that fans were now seeing him in a very different condition.

The former actress also highlighted the importance of family support during difficult periods. She suggested that Moammar Rana’s wife and family should play a stronger role in helping him overcome his struggles. Noor said she was not certain about how much support he currently receives from his family, but believed that having loved ones around can make a significant difference when someone is going through a difficult phase.

She further expressed her view that the actor may also be dealing with emotional or mental distress, adding another dimension to the concerns surrounding his well-being.

Noor’s comments have drawn attention because of her personal experience in the Pakistani entertainment industry and her long-standing association with many prominent film personalities. Her remarks also reflect growing concern among fans over Moammar Rana’s current health and lifestyle.

Shubman Gill injury rocks India ahead of Sri Lanka Tests

COLOMBO: India’s preparations for their upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka have suffered a fresh setback after captain Shubman Gill was forced to miss the opening day of a three-day warm-up match due to a finger injury. Gill sustained an injury to his right-hand finger during a practice session on Thursday, prompting the Indian team management to take a cautious approach. The Test captain was rested for the first day of the warm-up fixture against a Sri Lanka XI as the medical team continues to monitor his condition. The development immediately raised concerns over Gill’s availability for the Test series, although there is currently no indication that he will miss the opening match. In Gill’s absence, vice-captain KL Rahul took charge of the Indian side. Rahul’s experience will be particularly valuable as India look to make the most of their final preparation ahead of the two-Test series. Recent reports also confirmed that Rahul led India at the toss after Gill was ruled out of the opening day. The Indian camp is already dealing with a lengthy injury list. Star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the Test series with a knee problem, while Harshit Rana, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Washington Sundar are also unavailable because of different injuries. Gill’s fitness will therefore be closely watched over the next two days. According to the team’s medical update, a decision on whether he will return to the warm-up match will be made after further assessment. India are scheduled to begin their two-Test series against Sri Lanka on August 15 in Galle, with the second Test set to be played in Colombo from August 23. For India, the priority is clear: avoid taking unnecessary risks with their captain now and ensure Gill is fully fit when the real contest begins. The latest setback adds another layer of uncertainty to an already injury-hit Indian squad, making Gill’s recovery one of the biggest talking points ahead of the series.

Police have launched an investigation following allegations by the victim’s family that she was deliberately poisoned by a classmate after refusing his marriage proposal. According to police officials, a case has been registered against two suspects on the complaint of the deceased’s father. Authorities said the investigation is underway, and efforts are being made to arrest the accused. White House reports $19B-$26B annual revenue loss from global tariff evasion

A new White House report released Thursday estimates that the United States is losing between $19 billion and $26 billion annually in tax revenue due to foreign nations routing exports through third-party countries to evade American tariffs. The report emphasizes that Chinese manufacturers responded to 2018 trade duties by redirecting goods to more than 40 intermediate nations, including Mexico and Malaysia, for minimal assembly or repackaging prior to US entry. White House trade counselor Peter Navarro described the practice as “the great transshipment scam,” asserting that it masks the true volume of Chinese imports while undermining US domestic manufacturing, automotive, and electronics sectors. The findings come ahead of a scheduled September visit to Washington by Chinese Leader Xi Jinping. Navarro indicated that future trade agreements negotiated by the Trump administration will incorporate strict enforcement mechanisms and penalties to punish countries facilitating trade re-routing schemes.
