Rajab Butt reveals why he always shows off his wealth

Rajab Butt has become one of Pakistan’s most talked-about YouTubers and social media influencers, often attracting attention not only for his content but also for the controversies surrounding his personal and professional life.

From public disputes and legal issues to discussions about his marriage, the social media personality frequently finds himself in the spotlight. While he has a large following, his outspoken personality and extravagant lifestyle have also made him a polarizing figure, with some fans strongly supporting him while others criticize his approach.

In a recent interview with 24 Digital, Rajab Butt opened up about his latest controversies, public disagreements and the reasons behind his highly visible lifestyle. During the conversation, the YouTuber addressed a topic that has repeatedly sparked discussion online: his habit of openly displaying his wealth.

Rajab Butt has often shared glimpses of his expensive purchases, luxurious lifestyle and business activities with his audience. He has also previously claimed that he has achieved billionaire status through his YouTube career and various business ventures.

His claims and lifestyle have generated considerable discussion among social media users, with many questioning why he chooses to make so much of his financial success public.

Explaining his perspective, Rajab Butt said that showing his wealth is closely connected to the nature of his work as a content creator. According to him, if he purchases something expensive, it naturally becomes part of the content he creates for his audience.

He gave the example of buying a car worth Rs 5 crore, saying that if he spends such a huge amount on a vehicle, he would make a vlog about it rather than keeping the purchase completely private. For him, such moments are not simply personal experiences but also opportunities to create content and keep his viewers interested.

Rajab further pointed out that content creators have increasingly turned everyday occasions into material for their videos. He noted that YouTubers can create content even from events such as birthday celebrations, suggesting that almost every aspect of a creator’s lifestyle can become part of their online presence.

He explained that he follows the same approach. Since his career depends on producing engaging videos, he believes he has to make his content interesting enough to hold the audience’s attention. Sharing expensive purchases, cars and other aspects of his lifestyle is therefore part of the entertainment value he offers to his viewers.

His comments provide an insight into how Rajab Butt views the relationship between his personal life and his career. Rather than treating his wealth as something that should always remain private, he considers it a source of content that can help attract viewers and generate interest.

For Rajab Butt, displaying his wealth is ultimately connected to the demands of being a modern YouTuber. As social media continues to blur the line between private life and entertainment, he appears comfortable turning major personal milestones, purchases and lifestyle choices into content for his audience.

Barbie sequel talks hit roadblock as negotiations …

The huge success of Barbie made a sequel seem almost inevitable. After all, the 2023 film became a global phenomenon, earning more than $1.4 billion at the worldwide box office and turning into one of Warner Bros.’ biggest hits ever. Fans quickly began asking when Barbie and Ken would return to the big screen. However, the road to a second film has become more complicated than many expected. Recent reports suggest that negotiations for a Barbie sequel have reached a major roadblock. Warner Bros. is reportedly still working to secure new agreements with key members of the original team, including director Greta Gerwig, co-writer Noah Baumbach, and stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. None of them were contractually committed to a sequel after the first film, meaning fresh deals must be negotiated before production can move forward.  Adding to the pressure is a reported deadline tied to the film rights. According to recent reports, Warner Bros. has until December to finalize arrangements for a sequel before certain rights could revert to Mattel, the company behind the iconic Barbie doll. That deadline has increased the urgency of the ongoing talks.  The creative side of the project has also played a role in the delay. Following the release of the original film, Greta Gerwig repeatedly said she did not have an idea for a sequel. She explained that she had poured everything into the first movie and was not thinking about a follow-up at the time. More recent reports, however, indicate that Gerwig and Baumbach may now have a potential story in mind, but they are reportedly keeping those details private while negotiations continue.  Money is believed to be another major factor in the discussions. Reports claim that salary demands and profit-sharing arrangements are among the issues slowing progress, with all sides trying to reach an agreement that reflects the original film’s enormous success.  Despite the current challenges, a sequel has not been ruled out. Industry insiders believe there is still strong interest from both the studio and the creative team to continue the franchise if the right deal can be reached. For now, fans will have to wait as negotiations continue behind the scenes, hoping Barbie’s next adventure eventually makes its way to theaters.

Pakistan’s FIA defends AI profiling and phone checks at airports despite constitutional privacy concerns

Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has defended its use of artificial intelligence tools and mobile phone checks at airports to combat organised human smuggling, following public backlash over immigration checks. Additional Director-General for Immigration Nouman Siddiqui stated that AI-assisted profiling targets high-risk travel patterns, such as first-time visitors travelling to countries like Senegal, Malawi, or Cyprus with no clear family or employment ties, and that phone inspections occur only in select cases linked to smuggling networks. The FIA cited thousands of recent instances where citizens failed to return from visit visas, emphasizing that proactive measures are necessary to protect genuine travellers and prevent international reputational damage. However, legal experts warn that the agency is exceeding its authority. Immigration lawyer Umar Gilani noted that while officers can inspect travel documents, compelling passengers to unlock smartphones constitutes search and seizure, which legally requires a formal criminal investigation. Gilani argued that forcing access to personal devices violates the right to privacy under Article 14 of Pakistan’s constitution, calling for an independent immigration tribunal to oversee official decisions and safeguard fundamental rights.

Did a Japanese man really spend Rs220 crore to become a dog?

A viral claim suggesting that a Japanese millionaire spent Rs220 crore on surgeries to transform himself into a dog has been debunked, with available information indicating that the story is based on a highly realistic costume rather than any medical procedure. The claim recently gained traction on social media alongside a video showing a man appearing to move and behave like a dog. Posts circulating online alleged that a 26-year-old Japanese millionaire, reportedly identified as “Jaso”, had undergone expensive surgeries to permanently alter his body and acquire a canine appearance. However, there is no credible evidence that the man underwent such surgeries or spent anything close to Rs220 crore on a physical transformation. The viral story appears to have originated from a genuine case involving a Japanese man known online as “Toco”. He attracted international attention after fulfilling his long-held dream of experiencing life as a dog. Toco commissioned Japanese modelling and sculpting company Zeppet to design an extremely realistic Collie costume. The outfit was specially created to resemble the appearance of a real dog and reportedly cost around 2 million Japanese yen, equivalent to approximately Rs11–12 lakh. The costume was designed with considerable attention to detail, allowing Toco to convincingly appear as a Collie when wearing it. Videos and photographs of him using the costume subsequently spread widely across social media. The transformation, however, was entirely temporary. Toco did not undergo surgery, alter his body permanently or medically transform himself into an animal. Instead, he uses the elaborate costume as part of a personal hobby and to fulfil a childhood fascination with experiencing life from an animal’s perspective. The dramatic Rs220-crore figure appears to have been added or distorted as the original story circulated online. The huge difference between the reported cost of the costume and the alleged surgical expenditure highlights how the original account was exaggerated on social media. The viral video may therefore give viewers the impression that a person has physically transformed into a dog, but the available details point to a sophisticated costume rather than surgery or permanent physical modification.
