Taylor Swift reportedly stands by Jack Antonoff am…

Taylor Swift is reportedly standing by longtime friend and collaborator Jack Antonoff following reports that he and actress Margaret Qualley have ended their marriage.

According to recent reports, Antonoff and Qualley called it quits last month after nearly three years of marriage. While neither the music producer nor the actress has publicly commented on the reported split, new claims suggest that friends close to the former couple have begun taking sides as speculation surrounding their separation continues.

RadarOnline, citing an unnamed insider, claimed that Swift has remained firmly in Antonoff’s corner throughout the reported breakup. The source alleged that the Grammy-winning singer’s long personal and professional relationship with Antonoff has made her one of his strongest supporters during the difficult period.

“When a marriage like Jack and Margaret’s breaks up, and there aren’t any kids in the picture, the friends of the couple are forced to pick sides,” the insider reportedly said. The source also claimed that the separation did not come as a surprise to people who knew the couple closely. However, these claims have not been independently verified, and none of the individuals involved have addressed them publicly.

Swift and Antonoff have shared one of the music industry’s most successful creative partnerships for more than a decade. Since first working together on Sweeter Than Fiction in 2013, Antonoff has co-written and produced songs across several of Swift’s biggest albums, including 1989, Reputation, Lover, Folklore, Evermore, Midnights and The Tortured Poets Department. Their collaboration has earned multiple Grammy Awards and produced numerous chart-topping hits.

Reports of Antonoff and Qualley’s separation first surfaced in early July after the actress was absent from a high-profile event attended by Antonoff. Shortly afterward, multiple entertainment outlets reported that the couple had separated after what sources described as a rocky period in their relationship. Neither Antonoff nor Qualley has confirmed the reports, and their representatives have remained silent.

The latest speculation about Swift’s support comes from anonymous sources rather than official statements, making it difficult to verify the full picture. Even so, many fans believe it would not be surprising given the close friendship Swift and Antonoff have maintained for years, both inside and outside the recording studio.

For now, the reported split remains largely private, with the former couple choosing not to speak publicly about their relationship. Until Antonoff, Qualley or Swift address the situation themselves, much of the conversation continues to be driven by unnamed sources and media speculation. Meanwhile, Antonoff remains focused on his music career, while Swift continues her long-running collaboration with one of her closest creative partners.

Mahira Khan raises 180,000 pounds for Palestine

Mahira Khan has never been a passive bystander when it comes to causes she believes in, and her latest trip to the United Kingdom has made that commitment tangible in a way that goes well beyond a social media post. The actress and UNHCR ambassador raised an extraordinary 180,000 pounds for Palestine through a series of fan meet and greet events held across the UK, with all proceeds donated directly to Palestinian relief efforts. Mahira has been among the most vocal Pakistani celebrities in speaking out about the situation in Gaza since the conflict intensified. Her advocacy has been consistent and public, spanning social media posts, interviews and now direct fundraising action that has translated her words into significant material support. The UK events were hosted by Haroon Rashid, who organised the meet and greets and shared a statement following their conclusion expressing the collective feeling of everyone involved. Mahira herself appeared in two beautiful looks across the events, meeting fans, taking photographs and spending time with the people who came out to support both her and the cause she was representing. The response from those who attended and from the wider public online has been overwhelmingly warm. Fans flooded social media with admiration and gratitude. “Love for Mahira,” wrote one follower. “Great work,” said another. A third simply noted how beautiful she looked throughout the events, a reminder that even in the midst of serious humanitarian advocacy, her public presence carries the kind of warmth and grace that has made her one of Pakistan’s most beloved figures for over a decade. The figure of 180,000 pounds is a remarkable achievement for a celebrity-led charitable initiative, and it reflects both the depth of feeling around the Palestine issue among the Pakistani diaspora in the UK and the genuine affection and respect that Mahira Khan commands from her fanbase across the world. Mahira Khan has been a UNHCR National Goodwill Ambassador since 2019, using her platform to advocate for refugees and vulnerable communities. Her Palestine fundraising adds another significant chapter to that record of humanitarian engagement, demonstrating that the commitments she expresses publicly are ones she is willing to back with real effort. For Pakistani audiences watching from home, the news of the fundraising total has prompted considerable pride. It is a reminder that the influence that comes with celebrity, when directed thoughtfully and consistently toward meaningful causes, can generate outcomes that go well beyond anything a single voice in an interview can achieve. Mahira Khan raised 180,000 pounds for Palestine not by speaking about the issue but by showing up in person, meeting her fans one by one, and turning that connection into something that will reach people who need it most.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari says Pakistan’s independe…

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Pakistan has completed 79 years of independence and that the country will celebrate the centenary of its independence 21 years from now, in 2047. In a video message issued on the occasion of Independence Day, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reflected on the meaning of Pakistan’s independence and emphasized that freedom was not simply about acquiring a separate territory. According to him, the creation of Pakistan represented a broader promise of rights and dignity for its people. Bilawal said that independence should be understood as more than the establishment of a geographical homeland. He described it as a commitment made to the people of Pakistan and to the regions and states that chose to become part of the country at the time of its creation. He said that this commitment was subsequently incorporated into Pakistan’s Constitution and has continued to be reaffirmed over the years. According to Bilawal, the constitutional promise represents an important responsibility for successive generations and should not remain limited to political speeches or written documents. The PPP chairman stressed that the younger generation has an important role to play in fulfilling this promise. He said it is the responsibility of the present generation to ensure that the constitutional guarantees and principles associated with Pakistan’s founding vision reach every household by 2047, when the country will mark 100 years of independence. Bilawal’s remarks came as Pakistan celebrated its 79th Independence Day with nationwide ceremonies, flag-hoisting events and public celebrations. The day is observed every year on August 14 to commemorate Pakistan’s independence from British rule in 1947. In his message, Bilawal focused on the relationship between independence, constitutional rights and the responsibilities of citizens. He suggested that the true meaning of freedom lies not only in national sovereignty but also in ensuring that citizens are able to enjoy their fundamental rights. He further emphasized the importance of remembering the commitments associated with the creation of Pakistan while looking toward the country’s future. As Pakistan approaches its centenary in 2047, he called for collective efforts to translate constitutional principles into meaningful improvements in the lives of ordinary citizens. According to Bilawal, fulfilling the promise of Pakistan is a responsibility shared by every generation. He said the country’s future depends on ensuring that the principles of rights and justice are reflected in the everyday lives of people across the country. The PPP chairman also extended his greetings to the nation on Independence Day and expressed his hopes for Pakistan’s continued progress and prosperity. Concluding his message, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reaffirmed his commitment to Pakistan and expressed the slogan “Pakistan Khappay, Pakistan Paindabad,” conveying a message of support for the country’s unity, stability and lasting prosperity. His Independence Day message centered on the idea that Pakistan’s journey should be viewed not only through the achievement of independence but also through the fulfillment of the rights and aspirations that accompanied the country’s creation. With 2047 approaching as the centenary year of Pakistan’s independence, Bilawal called on the current generation to work toward realizing the constitutional promise for every citizen and household. His message highlighted the importance of connecting the ideals associated with independence to the everyday realities of the Pakistani people.

Pakistan to import 1 million tons of wheat to meet…

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to immediately import one million tons of wheat to ensure an uninterrupted supply across the country and meet the growing demand of the provinces. The decision was reached after detailed consultations between the federal government and provincial authorities on wheat availability, pricing, and supply. During the meeting, participants agreed that wheat stocks currently held by the Pakistan Agricultural Storage and Services Corporation (PASSCO) would be released without delay to address the immediate requirements of the provinces. Officials noted that while PASSCO’s existing reserves would help ease the short-term situation, the available stocks are insufficient to meet the combined demand of all provinces. To bridge the gap and maintain market stability, the government approved the immediate import of one million tons of wheat. Federal Minister for National Food Security Rana Tanveer Hussain said the government remains committed to ensuring the availability of affordable, high-quality wheat for consumers. He stated that PASSCO’s wheat reserves would be distributed according to provincial needs, while the planned imports would help fulfill the country’s overall requirements and prevent supply disruptions. The minister added that the move is aimed at maintaining stable wheat supplies, supporting provincial food security, and preventing unnecessary fluctuations in the domestic market.
