Tom Holland, Jon Bernthal bring humour to new Spider-Man film

Tom Holland and Jon Bernthal have revealed how their friendship helped create a more humorous atmosphere while filming Marvel’s upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

The two actors had previously worked together on Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated epic The Odyssey. Holland described that experience as remarkable but demanding.

After completing work on Nolan’s film, the actors moved on to the new Spider-Man project. Holland said the change in atmosphere was immediate.

According to Holland, the pair spent around six weeks working in an improvised and relaxed environment. They frequently joked on set and looked for new ways to add humour to the upcoming movie.

Holland said their off-screen relationship also influenced the connection between their characters.

He explained that the relationship originally written in the script changed significantly during production. Holland credited Bernthal’s acting and creative input for helping shape the final dynamic.

Bernthal also spoke warmly about his long-standing relationship with Holland.

The actor said he had known Holland since the British star was 17. The two had even worked together on audition tapes for the Marvel Cinematic Universe before Holland became widely known for playing Spider-Man.

Bernthal praised Holland’s development as an actor and said he remained impressed by his personality.

He described Holland as kind, hardworking and grounded despite his enormous success in Hollywood.

The upcoming film will bring Holland’s Spider-Man together with Bernthal’s Punisher. Their partnership is expected to be one of the major attractions of the new Marvel project.

The actors’ comments suggest that their real-life friendship played an important role in developing the chemistry between their characters.

Aaliya Hamza allegedly attacked inside Kot Lakhpat…

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has alleged that party leader Aaliya Hamza was attacked by fellow inmates inside Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Jail. Aaliya Hamza is currently imprisoned at the facility. PTI leaders claimed that she faced a physical assault following a dispute over access to water in a jail toilet. According to the party, one female inmate and several other prisoners were involved in the incident. PTI representatives alleged that the situation became serious when the inmates allegedly tried to strangle Aaliya. They described the incident as an attempt on her life. The allegations have raised concerns within the party about her safety and security while in custody. PTI leaders Sanam Javed and Falak Javed were also present in the jail, according to the party’s account. They allegedly intervened during the incident and helped protect Aaliya from the other inmates. PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja said the party had received disturbing information about the alleged incident. He called on the Punjab government and jail authorities to ensure Aaliya’s safety. Raja also demanded an immediate and transparent investigation into the matter. He said officials found responsible for negligence should face action. He also called for legal proceedings if any jail staff were found to have failed in their duties. Raja said the party would consult Aaliya’s family about further legal steps. He added that a petition could be filed in court seeking a medical examination and additional protection for the jailed leader. However, prison authorities have rejected PTI’s account of a physical assault. Punjab Inspector General Prisons Mian Salik Jalal said there was no physical clash between the prisoners. He said the inmates had only exchanged heated words over fetching water from a toilet. The conflicting accounts have created questions about what exactly happened inside the jail. The PTI has called for a formal inquiry, while prison authorities maintain that no physical confrontation took place. Aaliya was arrested by Punjab police in March. Authorities had alleged that she was evading arrest and organising gatherings involving PTI lawmakers, election candidates and party workers outside Adiala Jail. She was later transferred to Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore. Her arrest took place while she was in Lahore visiting family members during Eidul Fitr. She was initially taken to Shadman Police Station before being moved to jail. The PTI has strongly criticised the cases against Aaliya. Party leaders have repeatedly described her arrest and legal proceedings as politically motivated.

Asma Abbas faces criticism over husband’s second marriage

Asma Abbas is a well-known Pakistani television actress who has earned praise for her performances in several popular dramas, including Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, Khumaar, Akbari Asghari, GT Road, Baby Baji Ki Bahuwain, and Radd. She is also the mother of actress Zara Noor Abbas. Asma Abbas is married to retired Colonel Ghulam Abbas, who was previously married. The actress has spoken openly about their relationship and revealed that her husband fell in love with her and wanted to have children with her, which eventually led to their marriage. She has also maintained that she shared a good relationship with his first wife and lived peacefully with her until her death. Recently, Asma Abbas appeared on the television show Zabardast, hosted by Wasi Shah, alongside her husband. During the conversation, retired Colonel Ghulam Abbas shared details about what happened after he married Asma. He explained that his first wife initially moved to the United States after his second marriage. According to him, she told him that she wanted to visit her sister in America, and he helped arrange her visa. She left their child behind and returned to Pakistan around six months later. The retired army officer said that after her return, she continued to have an important place in their household. He recalled that the bedroom remained hers while he moved to Quetta for work. He also praised both women for staying with him despite the difficulties associated with his postings and career. Ghulam Abbas expressed gratitude toward his first wife and Asma, saying that they supported him through difficult periods and made his life easier. He further credited his first wife for accepting the situation and revealed that the two women eventually became close friends. According to him, there was even a point when Asma and his first wife would join forces against him during disagreements, turning their relationship into an unexpected friendship. However, the couple’s comments did not receive a positive response from everyone. Several social media users criticized Asma Abbas and her husband, arguing that the discussion appeared to overlook the emotional impact of a second marriage on the first wife. One commenter accused the couple of glorifying the second marriage and questioned why a married man would be pursued in the first place. Another described Asma as a “homewrecker” and argued that the first wife was the one who ultimately had to bear the consequences. Some users also challenged the narrative surrounding the first wife, particularly claims about her family life and children. Others questioned the decision to publicly discuss the circumstances of the marriage in a celebratory manner. While Asma Abbas and her husband presented their relationship as one that eventually became peaceful and respectful, the interview sparked a wider debate online about second marriages, the rights and emotions of first wives, and the complicated dynamics that can arise within families.

Kylie Kelce shuts down pregnancy rumors with blunt…

Kylie Kelce shuts down pregnancy rumors with blunt message: ‘Stop it’ By Amna Malik Kylie Kelce has made one thing crystal clear—she is not expecting baby number five. The 34-year-old podcast host and wife of former NFL star Jason Kelce addressed the growing speculation during the latest episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast after online rumors claimed she was pregnant again. Kylie, who shares four daughters with Jason, did not hold back as she responded to the claims with her trademark honesty and humor.  “We have four kids,” Kylie said before delivering a direct message to those fueling the rumors. “Stop trying to get me to have more. Stop it. That’s between me and my husband and my motherf—ing uterus.”  The rumors reportedly gained traction after photos from the family’s recent vacation in Paris showed Kylie wearing a loose-fitting dress. Some social media users quickly began speculating that the outfit was hiding a baby bump. Kylie, however, rejected those assumptions and explained why people should stop commenting on women’s bodies.  During the podcast, Kylie stressed that wearing comfortable or oversized clothing should never be viewed as proof that someone is pregnant. She argued that people need to stop making assumptions based solely on appearance, adding that such comments can be hurtful and intrusive.  Kylie and Jason Kelce are parents to four daughters: Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett and Finnley. The couple has often shared funny and heartfelt parenting moments with fans, but Kylie made it clear that decisions about expanding their family remain private.  This is not the first time Kylie has spoken out against pregnancy speculation. In the past, she revealed that she had experienced a miscarriage before welcoming her children, making false pregnancy rumors especially painful. Her previous comments encouraged people to think twice before asking women whether they are expecting, as they never know what someone may be going through behind the scenes.  Fans praised Kylie for addressing the rumors so openly, with many applauding her for speaking about body image and personal boundaries. Her candid remarks also sparked a wider conversation online about respecting women’s privacy and avoiding unnecessary speculation about pregnancy. For now, Kylie says her family is complete with four children, and she hopes people will stop turning every outfit or vacation photo into another round of baby rumors. Her message was simple, firm and impossible to misunderstand: decisions about having children belong to her and Jason alone—not the internet.

South Korea becomes global health tourism giant

South Korea is rapidly becoming one of the world’s leading destinations for medical tourism as international travellers increasingly combine vacations with comprehensive health check-ups. Foreign visitors are now adding blood tests, ultrasounds, cancer screenings and other preventive healthcare services to their travel plans, attracted by affordable costs, advanced technology, quick results and foreigner-friendly facilities. According to South Korea’s Ministry of Health and Welfare, more than 2 million foreign patients visited the country in 2025, marking a significant increase from the previous year. Visitors mainly came from China, Japan, Taiwan and the United States. Experts say South Korea’s growing popularity as a healthcare destination is driven by its efficient medical system, advanced equipment and competitive prices. Many international patients can complete full-body health screenings within a few hours, avoiding long waiting periods and complicated procedures common in other countries. Medical tourism officials say healthcare in South Korea remains relatively affordable because of government regulation of medical costs. In some cases, the cost of a single advanced medical test in countries like the United States can equal the price of a complete health screening package in South Korea. The country’s healthcare system also focuses heavily on preventive care, allowing doctors to detect diseases at an early stage through regular screenings. International visitors can book health packages through specialised medical concierge services that arrange appointments, interpreters and follow-up consultations. Many major hospitals and screening centres provide services in English and offer results in multiple languages. Foreign patients have shared positive experiences of completing extensive medical examinations, including blood tests, X-rays, ultrasounds and endoscopies, within a single visit. One visitor from Los Angeles said he chose South Korea after researching medical centres online and was impressed by the number of tests offered and the professionalism of healthcare workers. His complete screening, including several procedures, was completed within hours at a comparatively low cost. Another traveller from Hong Kong said a similar health package in her home country would have cost several times more than what she paid in South Korea. Healthcare providers say international patients are also attracted by smooth services, modern facilities and the availability of follow-up treatment if any health issues are discovered. However, experts advise travellers to confirm language support before booking appointments and recommend using medical assistance services to avoid communication problems.
