Olivia Culpo is opening up about the realities of preparing for baby number two, offering fans an honest glimpse into her birth plan while husband Christian McCaffrey gears up for another demanding NFL season. The former Miss Universe, who is currently in her third trimester, admitted that this pregnancy feels very different from her first as she navigates motherhood alongside her husband’s football commitments. 

In a recent TikTok “Get Ready With Me” video, Culpo shared that she has been feeling especially emotional as McCaffrey prepares to return to training camp with the San Francisco 49ers. While many fans associate the NFL season with September kickoffs, Culpo pointed out that players report for training camp in late July, meaning the family’s routine changes well before the regular season begins. 

The 34-year-old model also revealed that she will deliver her second child via a scheduled C-section. Having undergone a cesarean delivery with her first child, daughter Colette Annalise McCaffrey, last year, Culpo explained that a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) is not an option for her. As a result, she and McCaffrey carefully planned the procedure around one of the NFL star’s lighter workdays, allowing him to be present for the birth before returning to his team shortly afterward. 

Although the arrangement is bittersweet, Culpo remains optimistic. She admitted that knowing McCaffrey will head back to football soon after the baby’s arrival makes this experience very different from welcoming their first child. Still, she expressed gratitude for the strong support system surrounding her, saying she is thankful for her family, friends, and those helping her through the transition. 

Culpo and McCaffrey have been together since 2019 and tied the knot in June 2024. They welcomed their first daughter, Colette, in July 2025 before announcing in May 2026 that they were expecting their second child. Their pregnancy announcement, shared on Culpo’s birthday, featured heartfelt family photos and sonogram images, delighting fans across social media. 

As the couple prepares to expand their family, Culpo’s candid update has resonated with many parents who understand the challenge of balancing family milestones with demanding careers. Despite the emotional adjustments ahead, she remains focused on welcoming her newest addition while celebrating the unwavering support she shares with McCaffrey, proving that teamwork extends well beyond the football field.

The case has drawn attention to concerns surrounding the safety and protection of newborn children. However, investigators have not ruled out other possibilities as key questions remain unanswered. The young businessman was found dead with a gunshot wound to his chest in bushes near Shahi Qila in Gulistan-i-Jauhar, opposite the University of Karachi. His body was recovered two days after he was reported missing from his residence in PECHS. According to investigators, Raza had returned home after closing his business in Bahadurabad before leaving again after collecting a pistol from his office. Before departing, he reportedly left the keys to his house and car, along with his wristwatch and some cash for his mother. Police also found that all data on his iPhone had been deleted before his disappearance. The investigation revealed that he booked an online ride to Gulistan-i-Jauhar. The cab driver told police that Raza requested his favourite song during the journey and paid more than the required fare. CCTV footage reviewed by investigators showed him walking alone after being dropped off, with no one seen accompanying him. Police later recovered his mobile phone after tracing it to a person who inserted a SIM card into the device. The individual was detained, and investigators recovered the phone for forensic examination. Authorities also found the holster of Raza’s pistol hanging from a tree near the location where his body was discovered. However, the firearm used in the incident has not yet been recovered. Investigators believe it may have been taken away by someone passing through the area after the incident. The investigation has further revealed that Raza had been facing significant financial difficulties. Police said he had suffered losses worth millions of rupees through business investments and was under pressure to repay investors. Investigators also learned that he had sought a loan of Rs30 million from one investor, but the request was declined. According to statements recorded by police, the investor claimed Raza had spoken about experiencing disturbing thoughts before his death. His fiancée also told investigators that he had become deeply focused on cryptocurrency investments, particularly Bitcoin. She said she sent him a message on the night of his disappearance, but it was never delivered because his phone had already gone offline. Despite the evidence gathered so far, investigators say three major questions remain unresolved. They are trying to determine why Raza chose the isolated location where his body was found, where the missing pistol is, and why forensic experts did not detect gunshot residue on his hands despite the bullet being fired from close range. Officials noted that the body’s partial decomposition may have affected forensic findings.

    President delays assent for 19 high court judges

    The appointment of 19 additional judges to four high courts remains pending as President Asif Ali Zardari has yet to approve the summary. The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) approved the nominations during meetings held on July 20 and 21. The proposed appointments involve the Lahore High Court, Sindh High Court, Balochistan High Court and Islamabad High Court. Nine days have passed since the JCP approved the nominations. However, the president has not yet given his assent to the summary. The delay has caused concern within the government. A senior cabinet member questioned why the approval had not yet been granted. The official argued that the summary was initiated by the JCP rather than the prime minister. Therefore, according to the government’s position, the president could not send it back to the prime minister for reconsideration. The official also warned that continued inaction could create further tension within the superior judiciary. The government’s legal team is reportedly examining possible options to address the issue. The matter has also exposed differences between the government and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). According to government officials, the PPP leadership is unhappy with the JCP because some of its preferred nominees were not considered for judicial appointments. The PPP had shown particular interest in securing the appointment of two candidates to the Sindh High Court. However, neither the judicial nor executive members of the JCP supported their nominations. Officials said the candidates were below the age of 45. Both government and judicial representatives reportedly agreed that nominees below that age should not be approved. PPP Senator Farooq H Naek, a senior legal figure and member of the JCP, had proposed 33 candidates for the four high courts. His proposed list included 16 candidates for the Sindh High Court, 10 for the Lahore High Court, five for the Balochistan High Court and two for the Islamabad High Court. A member of the commission said the PPP could potentially have secured appointments for other candidates from interior Sindh. Some of those candidates were considered sympathetic to the party. However, the commission member claimed that the party’s insistence on its two preferred nominees affected the outcome. The dispute comes amid wider political and judicial developments involving Sindh. JCP judicial members have already reached a consensus on the performance of constitutional benches in the Sindh High Court. The judges serving on those benches were given three months to demonstrate their performance. The commission’s judicial members also opposed the confirmation of Sindh High Court Additional Judge Syed Fiaz ul Hassan Shah. The development was viewed by some political circles as another setback for the PPP. The party has historically sought influence over judicial appointments in Sindh and other provinces. Last year, the PPP was able to influence appointments in several high courts, including the Sindh High Court, Peshawar High Court and Lahore High Court. The judicial landscape has also changed following the 27th Constitutional Amendment. After the amendment, Justice K K Agha was elevated to the newly established Federal Constitutional Court. Another judge of the Sindh High Court was transferred to the Islamabad High Court.
