Kendall Jenner, Jacob Elordi heat up London romance

Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi have once again attracted attention after sharing a romantic moment during a dinner date in London.

The couple were seen leaving China Tang at The Dorchester this week while walking hand-in-hand along Park Lane. Their relaxed appearance together has added to growing interest in their relationship.

Jenner looked elegant for the evening in a pale blue sleeveless pencil skirt that highlighted her model figure. She paired the outfit with a black snakeskin-style clutch and matching stilettos.

The model kept her dark hair loose over her shoulders and completed her look with nude lipstick and sunglasses. Elordi, meanwhile, opted for a sophisticated pinstriped suit with a black tie and orange-tinted sunglasses.

The actor was seen holding Jenner’s hand as they walked away from the hotel, giving photographers another glimpse of the couple’s growing closeness.

The pair are currently in London as Elordi prepares for the premiere of his upcoming film The Dog Stars. The movie also features Josh Brolin, Margaret Qualley and Guy Pearce.

Their latest appearance comes amid continued reports about the couple’s relationship. Recent speculation claimed that Elordi had arranged a luxury penthouse stay for himself and Jenner at Claridge’s, reportedly costing around £60,000 per night.

According to reports, the actor wanted to give Jenner a memorable experience with views across London. The reported luxury stay further fuelled public interest in their romance.

Jenner and Elordi’s relationship became more widely known earlier this year after they were reportedly seen kissing at Justin Bieber’s Coachella afterparty. Their connection had already attracted attention after they were spotted together on several occasions.

Since then, the pair have reportedly spent time together during trips abroad, including visits to Hawaii and Japan. Their appearance holding hands in Tokyo also became a popular topic on TikTok and other social media platforms.

The romance rumours had begun earlier, with Jenner and Elordi reportedly seen having an animated conversation at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March. Their interaction prompted speculation that the two were becoming more than friends.

Neither Jenner nor Elordi has publicly discussed their relationship in detail. However, their repeated public appearances and affectionate moments have continued to fuel interest among fans and entertainment followers.

    Pakistan repays $1.4bn China loan

Pakistan has repaid a $1.4 billion commercial loan to China, with refinancing expected within the next few weeks, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Governor Jameel Ahmad said on Wednesday. Speaking to reporters after attending a meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Finance at Parliament House, the SBP governor said the country had made external debt repayments worth $2.2 billion during July 2026. The repayments included the $1.4 billion commercial loan to Chinese banks, while the remaining $800 million was used to settle other external liabilities. Ahmad said the refinancing from Chinese banks had not yet been received but was expected shortly, adding that the funds would be made available to Pakistan after a brief delay. The central bank governor also revealed that the SBP had purchased $28 billion over the past three years to strengthen the country’s foreign exchange reserves. He said Pakistan’s external debt repayment requirement had declined from $26.5 billion to $21.5 billion, easing pressure on the country’s finances during the current fiscal year. According to Ahmad, around $3.5 billion of the remaining repayments will be used to service interest obligations. He said the government would continue its strategy of increasing foreign exchange reserves while maintaining external financial stability. The SBP governor further noted that Pakistan would require the rollover of nearly $12 billion in deposits from Saudi Arabia and China to support its external financing position. He expressed confidence that the country’s debt repayment burden would remain lower this year compared with previous years, helping improve Pakistan’s overall economic outlook.

AJK police accuse banned JAAC of armed violence, b…

MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Police have alleged that the banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) is pursuing a coordinated agenda to disrupt peace and destabilise the region, claiming recent clashes with security forces demonstrate that the group has transformed into an armed organisation. Addressing a press conference in Rawalakot, AJK Police spokesperson Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Khawar Ali Shaukat said the violence of the past two days contradicted claims circulating on social media that the movement was peaceful. He alleged that armed individuals occupied buildings, established fortified positions and opened fire on police and security personnel using automatic and sophisticated weapons. According to the police, law enforcement personnel had been deployed across various parts of Rawalakot to maintain public order when they came under attack. Shaukat said authorities had exercised restraint throughout the situation but were compelled to respond in accordance with the law after security forces were targeted. The police spokesperson maintained that the nature of the weapons used and the organised tactics adopted during the clashes suggested the involvement of more than an ordinary protest movement. He further claimed that the group’s activities were intended to damage social harmony, weaken the atmosphere of brotherhood in AJK and create instability in the region. Officials said the confrontation claimed the life of a Rangers official, while around 15 police officers and other law enforcement personnel were injured during the exchanges. Police have reiterated that operations are being carried out under the law to restore order, while investigations into the incidents and the alleged network behind the violence remain ongoing.

The news comes several weeks after Rahman unveiled a teaser for the tribute on World Music Day in June. Several prominent figures from the Indian film industry attended the funeral to pay their respects and honour her unforgettable contribution to music and cinema. ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’ sequel confirmed

LOS ANGELES: Fans of the popular romantic comedy How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days have reason to celebrate as a sequel to the 2003 film is officially moving forward, more than two decades after the original became a rom-com favourite. The upcoming project is being developed by Paramount Pictures, with actress Kate Hudson, who played the lead character in the original movie, attached as a producer. Details about the sequel are currently being kept under wraps. The storyline has not been revealed, and no official cast announcement has been made so far. However, there is growing speculation that Hudson and Matthew McConaughey could return to their famous roles as Andie Anderson and Benjamin Berry. Neither actor has officially confirmed a return at this stage. The original film centred on Andie Anderson, a journalist working for Composure magazine. She takes on an unusual assignment to write an article explaining how a woman could make a man end a relationship within 10 days. Her target is Benjamin Berry, an advertising executive who becomes involved with her without knowing the real reason behind her behaviour. Benjamin, meanwhile, has his own secret challenge. He makes a bet that he can make Andie fall in love with him within the same period. Their competing plans lead to a series of misunderstandings, romantic moments and comedic situations. The film eventually turns into a genuine love story despite both characters initially having hidden motives. McConaughey’s casting was reportedly not straightforward. Hudson previously revealed that the studio did not initially consider him the obvious choice for the male lead. She said she pushed for McConaughey because she believed the two actors had the right chemistry for the film. Hudson later explained that she wanted to work with him because they had a competitive energy and could challenge each other on screen. She credited his commitment and focused approach to acting as important factors behind their successful pairing. Her decision proved successful. The chemistry between Hudson and McConaughey became one of the film’s biggest attractions and helped turn the movie into one of the better-known romantic comedies of the early 2000s. McConaughey has also spoken positively about the film years after its release. He has described it as one of his favourite romantic comedies and said its popularity has continued to benefit him financially. The actor previously joked that the movie remains his biggest source of so-called “mailbox money”, referring to the continuing income he receives from its popularity and repeated screenings. Directed by Donald Petrie, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days was a commercial success when it reached cinemas in 2003. The film was made on a reported budget of around $50 million and earned nearly $180 million worldwide. Over the years, the movie has developed a strong following and become a staple of the romantic-comedy genre. The announcement of a sequel has therefore generated considerable interest among fans who have long wanted to see what happened to Andie and Benjamin after the events of the original film. For now, Paramount has not disclosed the sequel’s release date, storyline or confirmed cast. Any return by Hudson and McConaughey will depend on official confirmation from the studio and the actors
