Ryan de Nino’s ex-wife Jessica Castro breaks sil…

Ryan de Nino, who rose to fame after appearing on the second season of Married at First Sight, has died suddenly at the age of 40. The reality TV personality passed away earlier this week in New Jersey. His family has not publicly revealed the circumstances or cause of his death.

Following the heartbreaking news, Ryan’s former wife and MAFS co-star Jessica Castro has broken her silence. Castro said that she had not been in contact with Ryan for years. Despite their complicated past, she expressed sympathy for his loved ones and wished peace for his family as they deal with the loss.

Ryan and Jessica first met at the altar during the second season of Married at First Sight in 2015. Ryan was 29 at the time, while Jessica was working as a receptionist in New York. Like other couples on the show, they agreed to marry without meeting beforehand after being matched by relationship experts.

The couple initially chose to stay married on Decision Day. However, their relationship quickly deteriorated after filming ended. Their split eventually became one of the most controversial storylines from the season.

In June 2015, Jessica filed for a restraining order and made serious allegations about Ryan’s behavior and threats toward her and her family. Ryan disputed the allegations at the time. Their marriage ultimately ended, and the two went their separate ways.

Years later, Jessica moved on from the reality television spotlight, while Ryan also maintained a relatively private life. Their relationship remained a notable part of Married at First Sight history because of the dramatic events that followed their televised marriage.

Ryan’s death has also prompted emotional tributes from members of his family. His sister, Melissa DeNino, remembered him as funny, witty, fiercely loyal and someone with a huge heart. She described losing her brother as a devastating experience that had changed her life forever.

The sudden news has left Married at First Sight viewers remembering Ryan’s time on the series. Although his marriage to Jessica ended more than a decade ago, their story has once again drawn attention following his unexpected death.

At this time, Ryan’s family has not publicly announced a cause of death. Further details may emerge as his loved ones continue to grieve and make arrangements.

Alliance Française de Lahore exhibits ‘What…

LAHORE — The gallery at Alliance Française de Lahore opened its doors to art enthusiasts on August 10, 2026. The exhibition presented “What’s Remains”  curated by Anne Sophie Français. The evening paired thought-provoking artworks installations with a lively Kathak dance showcase. The multidisciplinary art offered attendees a rich space and human experience. The art exhibition was curated as a inquiry into what lingers after a place is traversed or a voice is silenced. “What’s Remains“ features new works by three emerging Pakistani visual artists: Rabya Khalid, Sarim Syed and Yumna Salman. They worked across diverse mediums ranging from cyanotypes and charcoal drawings to intricate textile sculptures. Rabya Khalid anchors her compositions in rich cyanotype blues overlaid with soft pastels and color pencils. Rabya focuses on urban architectural features. Water towers, elevated rooftops and quiet watchtowers dominate her skyline studies. Her works cast functional city infrastructure as silent or watchful witnesses to human activity. Sarim Syed utilized delicate charcoal rendering. Sarim creates dreamlike, atmospheric landscapes that occupy the boundary between remembering and forgetting. Her works evoke the lingering sensation of places once inhabited, capturing moments suspended between presence and absence. Yumna Salman brings a tactile, social critique to the gallery space. Yumna knots loose threads onto rigid metal wire mesh. Her labor-intensive textile installations reinterpret traditional weaving techniques to question inherited social norms, gender roles and collective memory. She turned each deliberate knot into an act of quiet resistance. Following the gallery preview, the evening changed into a vibrant 7:30 PM Kathak performance. The performance featured dedicated dance students. They celebrated an intensive month of rhythm, classical movement and expressive storytelling. The fluid footwork and rhythmic precision of the dancers created a unified dialogue with the silent, lingering themes of the surrounding artwork. Alliance Française de Lahore continues to act as an essential platform for emerging talent. The institution provides artists a non-commercial environment to showcase work, inspire public dialogue and strengthen cultural ties between Pakistani and Francophone creative communities. “What’s Remains” invites viewers to engage with stories that endure through art, memory and movement.

US investigates possible Russian role in Iranian strikes on CIA facilities

US intelligence agencies are examining whether Russia helped Iran carry out drone attacks on CIA facilities in the Gulf, raising fresh concerns about growing military cooperation between Moscow and Tehran. Officials are reviewing intelligence to determine whether Russia provided targeting information, advanced drone technology, or other forms of support that may have increased the accuracy of the attacks. According to sources familiar with the investigation, analysts have not reached any final conclusions about Russia’s involvement. However, the precision of the strikes and Russia’s long history of military and technical cooperation with Iran have led intelligence officials to explore whether Moscow played a direct role in planning or supporting the operations. The investigation follows a series of Iranian drone attacks that targeted sensitive US intelligence locations in the region. At least two CIA facilities were reportedly hit in March. One of the sites was located inside the US Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, while another was in eastern Iraq. Officials familiar with the matter said additional CIA locations may also have been attacked, although they declined to reveal further details because of security concerns. Western intelligence officials have also reviewed reports suggesting that Russia may have assisted Iran in selecting the targets. One intelligence assessment reportedly concluded that Russia likely contributed to identifying regional CIA facilities, although officials stressed that the findings remain under review and have not been publicly confirmed. According to officials briefed on intelligence reports, the attack on the US Embassy compound in Riyadh involved two upgraded versions of Iran’s Shahed drones. They said one drone created an opening in the embassy’s outer structure while the second entered through the damaged area before exploding inside. No casualties were reported, but the operation demonstrated a level of accuracy that surprised intelligence analysts. The investigation comes as tensions between the United States and Iran remain high following months of military exchanges across the Middle East. American officials are also examining recent Iranian strikes on a US military base in Jordan where ballistic missiles killed two American soldiers. Those attacks have intensified concerns that Iran may be receiving more advanced military support from Russia. Analysts believe Russia has spent years helping Iran improve its drone capabilities. Intelligence sources say Moscow has assisted Tehran in increasing the range and precision of its Shahed drones through technical upgrades. Reports also suggest Russia supplied Iran with the Kometa M satellite navigation system, which is believed to provide greater accuracy and stronger resistance to electronic interference than Iran’s previous guidance systems. Russia has denied supplying the technology and dismissed earlier reports on the matter. The White House referred questions about the investigation to the CIA, which declined to comment. Iran’s mission to the United Nations, the Russian Defense Ministry, and Saudi authorities also did not respond to requests for statements. The exact number and locations of the targeted CIA facilities remain classified. Intelligence sources said more than one site but fewer than a dozen were struck during the attacks. Overseas CIA operations often include embassy based stations as well as secure facilities used for surveillance, logistics, intelligence gathering, and other sensitive missions. US analysts are also investigating whether Russia supplied the intelligence used to identify the Riyadh facility. Some officials remain cautious, noting that Iran may have intended to strike the US Embassy as a whole rather than specifically targeting the CIA station located within the compound. Others believe very few countries possess both the intelligence capabilities and the strategic motivation to identify and support attacks against such highly sensitive US facilities. Former CIA station chief Daniel Hoffman said closer military cooperation between Russia and Iran makes such assistance plausible. He argued that both countries share a common interest in reducing American influence across the Middle East and other regions where they seek greater strategic control. The investigation remains ongoing as US intelligence agencies continue to assess the available evidence.
