Then my sister Jenna showed up to a family lunch in a chambray shirt and dark jeans and tbh guys – she looked amazing. Pulled together in a way I couldn’t stop staring at. 👀😂 And I thought, okay, I have been wrong about this for YEARS.
So I went down a bit of a rabbit hole. I tried it, I loved it and now it is one of my favorite ways to get dressed on a day when my brain is not really working yet.

I wore this to a dinner last month and three people asked where the skirt was from. It was old. Very old. I just tucked the shirt in and added a belt and suddenly it looked new again.

This is the version I reach for on a busy Saturday. A denim shirt, blue jeans, and crisp white sneakers. The white breaks up all the blue so it doesn’t feel too heavy.
