Terry Rozier is in trouble right now. Over the summer, the Miami Heat organization did not sign any high-profile free agents. However, the frontline staff decided to focus their resources ahead of the NBA trade deadline, despite the barrage of criticism and comments about the team’s lack of urgency and potential to land a superstar.
In January, Miami acquired guard Terry Rozier from the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for veteran guard Kyle Lowry and a first-round pick. Rozier is playing for the Heat for the first time this season and there are still concerns about his form.

She didn’t directly refer to Terry Rozier by name in the posts. However, based on connections made previously, fans quickly realized that the now-deleted messages were actually alluding to the Ohio native who had allegedly been spending time with her. Embarrassing would be an understatement.
The Nuggets would dominate the Heat and win by 13. Rozier had a Plus/Minus of -22.
Are Terry Rozier’s shortcomings hurting the Heat?
One consistent aspect of Rozier’s less effective games is his shooting. Throughout his career, the point guard has regularly attempted a high number of shots, most notably while playing for the Hornets, where he averaged 20 points on 16.7 attempts per game.
His data indicates that he would gain an advantage if he played more off the ball and was more intentional in the shots he selects. When Rozier doesn’t capitalize on a catch-and-shoot opportunity, he often has clear, open shots that he misses or fails to take. Sometimes Rozier unnecessarily complicates his shots.
