No Exam Required! Apply for 30,041 Gramin Dak Sevak Posts in India Post
The Department of Posts, Government of India, has announced the recruitment of 30,041 Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) on a contractual basis. The last date to apply for the vacancies is August 23, 2023.
The vacancies are spread across various states and union territories. The minimum educational qualification required for the posts is 10th pass. Candidates must also be between the ages of 18 and 40 years.
The selection process for the vacancies will be through a computer-based test (CBT). However, there will be no exam for the posts of GDS in the following states: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The candidates who are selected for the posts will be placed in various post offices across the country. They will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels, maintaining records, and providing customer service.
The salary for the posts of GDS is Rs. 12,000 per month. The candidates will also be eligible for other benefits, such as medical allowance, leave travel allowance, and gratuity.
