With so many candy-focused holidays throughout the year, it seems like junk food can make its way into our homes just about every month of the year.

From Halloween to Christmas, Valentine’s Day to Easter, there are just so many occasions for sugar-laden treats to tempt our sweet tooth and do damage to our health.

It’s fun to make and eat homemade candy and treats, and there’s no reason we should have to deprive ourselves (or our kiddos) of sweets, especially during special holidays.

We just have to change the game a bit.
